Subject: FK Moment

I came across "Nicholas teeth," a traditional set of pointy teeth for children,
at the Dollar Store the other day.  I scanned the whole package and no where did
it reference "vampire" teeth.  So I'm wondering how they came up with that name
for the product!  I was so focused on buying stuff for a party that I didn't
think to buy myself some, but I think I'm going to have to go back.

Subject: Pondering

Ever since the first time I watched Only the Lonely, I find myself fixated on
Natalie's telephone conversation as Nick "rises from the dead."  To this day I
wonder what must have been going through the mind of the person on the other end
of the line!  He (she?) hears a sudden thud, Natalie's gasp, and whatever can be
picked up from the rest of the conversation.  Was the person alarmed?  Were they
negligent and just let it go?  Did they send someone to check on her?  This
issue always distracts me -- just as I always get distracted by the fact that no
one closes doors on tv or in the movies.  People just walk through the door or
step out of the car and NEVER close the door!  I'm always thinking, "Hey, were
you raised in a barn??  You're wasting air-conditioning, and what about bugs??"

Okay, I'm quirky. ;o)

Subject: Fk moment - Janette

I work at a hospital and I was on the phone scheduling a patient this morning
for and exam.  After every sentence he called me 'honey'.  I had to resist the
temtation to use Janette's phrase "I am NOT honey".  Because we have to be
polite and such, I just ignored it.

Right, so I am practically checking my list mail at the Speed of Will
now. <g> Excuse the delayed reaction, but I just saw this title to
Brenda's post and my knee-jerk reaction was, "Hurricane Juan? The Inca
found out about the llama!!!! Gaaahhhhh!!!!!!"

Yes, I am a silly woman. Apologies to those affected by Mother Nature
this time around.
