Ben will be doing "Othello" from September 26 - October 26 in Vancouver:
http://www.artsclub.com/20032004/onstage/othello.htm
He will be playing the character of Cassio. Tickets are not yet
available but I thought I'd post a "heads up" for anyone wanting to
attend.

Hmm - how about this. I see the characters with the following pets:
Nick - definitely a dog guy. Probably has a "sidekick" dog like Rin Tin Tin
somewhere.
Nat - if she didn't have Sydney - she'd have a mongrel cat - fits very much
her urge to rescue.
LC - Big tarantula or bird eating spider- handy for freaking out lesser
beings too...if they weren't already scared out of their minds by The
General.
Janette - a white raven. Ravens are smart, menacing and a white raven is
rather distinctive for Janette. That it gels with her club name is just a
bonus.
Schanke - Jenny's school hamster. It came home one day and refused to leave
- so Schanke's stuck with it.
Capt Reese - has a half-trained pup at home that drives him bananas. Just
like the cooler - leaks when you don't want it to and never does what its
supposed to do.
Cheers,
Ell

Yeah! I imagine he'd secretly put out food for some tough old alleycat
that hangs around outside the Raven. I can imagine the two of them
staring each other down out back behind the trash cans. <g>

Absolutely a mutt, a big, shaggy, slobbery goofus of a dog with a tail
that keeps knocking stuff off the coffeetable! But I don't think Jenny
would have a cat, I think she'd have a tank of guppies in her room
that she could watch while she went to sleep. Sort of an animated
nightlight.

I'm seeing a cage full of gerbils here. Cut, fuzzy, and you can leave
them alone for a couple of days at a time without hurting them.

I have a set of PAL tapes of FK that I got from a friend in Germany so I
could see the dubbed versions. I have an NTSC-converted set so I can play
them on American machines, and would like to find a home for the PAL ones,
as it seems a shame to tape over or toss them, although I'm very close to
doing that. There are 18 tapes with 3 episodes each--1st and 2nd
seasons. I know that my NTSC copies of these were beautiful quality, so
the original PAL tapes must be lovely as well, though they are something
like 8 years old.
I checked at the post office and the box of tapes is either $24 or $37 to
mail to Europe. I'm more than glad to send them for reimbursement of
postage alone, or in a bartering deal; I'd love to have the German DVDs of
Monsters, Inc., and Shrek (I can show them in classes and we have a way to
convert to Region 1).
Please reply to me OFFLIST if you are interested. I'm at amilynh@c........
Thanks,
Amy (pitching the tapes after a week at this point)
