I'm working on finding another host for it, Janice said something
about not hosting anymore, but I had to reinstall my os and reformat
my harddrive on the laptop, so I don't have it. I tried emailing her,
but haven't gotten an answer. I am working on it, and should have it
resolved by the end of the week. I'm also working on converting it
over to mySQL or xml, whichever does what I want it to.

DOH, Lake Erie is by Windsor, and Niagara, but Toronto borders on lake
Ontario.

Maybe I'm thinking about the wrong site, but isn't this it?
http://fkfanfic2.0catch.com/ I pull it up with no problem.

The 8th hit on a google search on "maps" took me to a National Geographic site:

http://plasma.nationalgeographic.com/mapmachine/index.html

It's excellent. The Toronto map is very nice, too:

http://plasma.nationalgeographic.com/mapmachine/index.html?
id=362&size=medium&left=-79.82&bottom=43.27&right=-79.02&top=44.07&point=-
79.4167,43.6667&text=Toronto

Also, for more detailed questions ("Is there a little hole-in-the-wall diner
near the Coroner's Office where Nat could take Nick? What's it called? What
does it look like? What street is it on?") there is fanfic_geography at
YahooGroups:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fanfic_geography/

This one is useful along the lines of the other fanfic_foo lists (_med, _law,
_history, _military, _language, _science, _Supernatural) and often a member can
give specific details of odd questions that would be hard to find in a search.

Of course, if they visited another city (past or present)...there could be
other questions. :-)

But it is great to have an ace in the hole. :-)

No, Windsor, Ontario is across the Friendship Bridge from Detroit,
Michigan. Toronto is a good 4-hour drive from there.

May I suggest a good map for all our geographicallly-challenged fans?

Nancy Kaminski
who has driven east from Minneapolis, through Wisconsin, through
Illinois via Chicago, up through Michigan to Detroit, across the
bridge into Windsor, and then on to Toronto via the 401---950 miles
total---more than a few times
