I haven't seen any. But somehow I don't see that appealing to either
of them, especially Lacroix. Lacroix doesn't strike me as someone who
wants to live in the past, especially since he's already been
there/done that. Besides, he'd always be correcting people if they do
stuff the wrong way. <g>

There was a discussion about this a while back---and there's no reason
why he might not have tried out armor at one point or another--perhaps
that belonging to a noble he had just drained. But he surely wouldn't
have had any reason to wear it in public, especially since it's such a
production to put on and take off.

Being a member of the SCA myself.. i doubt Nick would at all be impressed
with SCA armour. While they make their best attempt to recreate some
stuff... it is NOT the same as what would have been back in his day and
age...

As a fellow member, I couldn't agree more - especially the 'newbies' who
can't wait to start fighting and use the ubiquitous 'pickle barrel'
armour with a tabard thrown over the top. Somehow I can't imagine Nick
dressed head-to-toe in black plastic. Black leather, yes, <gulp> oh my,
YES.... but not plastic. ;-)
