Well, I got your attention. :) TNN is turning itself into a new channel
called SpikeTV. The channel is being advertised as a channel for men and
they are asking people what they want to see. EVERYONE needs to head over to
www.spiketv.com and drop a word to Spike TV/TNN that you want "Forever
Knight". Since this is a new station with no definite lineup yet and they
actually seem to care about what viewers want to see, we might actually have
a chance of getting FK back on the air in the USA. Please everyone, go to
the website above, and tell them you want "Forever Knight". I'm sure if
enough people said "Forever Knight," they'd get it for the network.

http://www.spiketv.com

Oh, and ladies, you need to pretend you're guys, so use your husband,
brother, or whoever's names. ;) You can also submit as many requests as you
want, so you can be multiple people from different states. This should help
our numbers.

Also, if you have the time, please request "Airwolf." Geraint stars
regularly in season 4 and this has a been a series I have been wanting to
finish collecting in good quality. Nick/Ger fans will love this series too.
:)

Thanks for reading!

Was that from fanfic or canon? I seem to remember a piece of fic about the
General turning Francesca.

both immediately and in the future (by hurting the reputation of the fans.)

Just thought I'd point that out. (That and given the shows, I'd say
"Airwolf" has the better chance of the two...)

I'm sorry but I must respectfully disagree. FK fans have a reputation for
honesty, and things like this only hurt, not help. I'd suggest recruiting actual
male friends and family to e-mail requesting the show, also send e-mails
yourself. The station may aim for the male audience, but they also know they
will attract females.

Canon, if I'm recalling the episode correctly.

>I seem to remember a piece of fic about the General turning Francesca.

If I'm remembering this properly, he did -- while he was at Charlemagne's
court.

I was watching CSI on this channel, and saw some of the shows that
they're going to be showing as "SpikeTV"---they were either
advertised, or came on after CSI. It was appalling, true crap
appealing to hormonally-challenged teenage boys. I wouldn't want to
see FK on this station---and FK is not the kind of stuff they'd want
to show. I'm surprised that they're showing CSI, although that has its
share of sex and titillation, plus the graphic murders.

Just IMO, of course.

The way I remember it, all that's actually said in the episode is that
Francesca had lived a thousand years at the time of her death, and the
flashback was set in the mid-to-late 1700s.

Maybe it's the fanfic that's been mentioned, but I wrote one ages ago
called 'An Uncommon Soul' in which I extrapolated that the period
Francesca would have been made a vampire fit in with LC saying he rode
with Charlemagne in 'Dark Knight.'

So I don't think the connection of Francesca and Charlemagne is canon;
it's a logical conclusion based on the canon we're given.

I ADORE that fanfic Bonnie. I read it in 'Tojours Lacroix' and It's one of
my all time favorites.
For anyone who hasn't read it, it's an absolute must.

i actually dont think that we should have to resort to pretending we are
guys..Besdies,right now FK is currently not on the Sci-Fi Schedule, it does not
mean it wont or can't return at a future time.If any emails are sent requesting
its return they should be directed to the Sci-Fi channel.
