Divia was LaCroix's illegitimate daughter by Selene, who was the madam of
the brothel in Pompeii where the flashbacks of the asteroid episode take
place. I can't remember the title. The Old Gray Mare and all that, even if I
do use hair color. :) It's not entirely clear in the episode that it is a
brothel, and Selene is the madam, but it says so in the script. The script
is also clear that Divia is LaCroix's biological child. LaCroix recoils
from Divia and kills her in the Ashes to Ashes flashback because even he
draws the line at incest.

him across. Sorry for the confusion and the help

Maybe by bringing across those that are thoroughly sick of their old
lives, it's more likely they'll turn their backs on everything having to do
with mortality and never look back.

So does that explain why Nick has so little success in bringing people
across? an inability to choose the right candidate. and if so what does
that say for Natalie's prospects if she were brought across.

The first time they're shown is A More Permenant(sp?)
Hell. They're repeated in Ashes to Ashes, but not all
of the scenes are show.

Subject: Fic question

I am hoping that there are quite a few people out there who's memory is much
better than mine. <g> Any way, my question is this: Does anyone recall in the
first two seasons, anything that Lacroix said in reference to friendship?
Anything that maybe Natalie, Nick or Schanke said would work too. I am working
on a fic that is taking a looonnggg time, and that will help me out. You can
email me off list, thanks, Phylis.

I think that is a good sign for Nat seeing as Nick doesn't bring her across. By
the logic that Nick can't pick the right women we can say that the women he
doesn't pick are probably better suited than the ones he does.

According to the director it is,

"a 1-hour documentary on the enduring appeal of
the vampire myth for the Women's Entertainment
Network (scheduled to air in mid April 2003)."
