I was checking the schedule on Showcase for another program and saw
Black Harbour had returned . Of course it returned at 9:00 EST the
exact same time as Forever Knight but I thought I would mention it just
the same.

stripped to his undies. Especially since Nick Knight
rarely even took his jacket off...Father Figure and
Killer Instinct being the exceptions. He does have a
nice pair of arms on him, doesn't he? <ggl>

Re the vampire comment....I *did* half expect him to
go after someone's neck sooner or later. And when he
snapped toward the end, it was easy to expect to see
fangs and glowing eyes in there somewhere.<g>

Now, if I could just get rid of the disturbing fic
ideas....can't you just see Nick, LaCroix, Janette
Nat, Schanke/Tracy, a captain of your choice, and
whichever other characters you want waking up in the
hypercube? Hm....I could work it in as a wierd dream
of Nick's or something. Or maybe I should just leave
that one alone. I haven't decided yet LOL.

I agree. This is the most skin we've seen since GHOST
MOM. Although he was in his shorts once in BLACK
HARBOUR.

< I *did* half expect him to go after someone's neck

I didn't get this at all. I saw absolutely no vampire
connection, except for the "I'm hungry" line.

I think it would be a cool dream. And it should have
all 3 captains and Schanke and Tracy. Everyone gets
to meet each other. And the humans find out about
vampires. Since its only a dream, it won't matter.

< Or maybe I should just leave that one alone. I
haven't decided yet >

I say go for it.

I don't remember the name of the episode, but there was the one where
he was posing behind a drape with a young girl who was suicidal, and
poisoned herself at the end. I got the impression that he was in his
nothing-at-alls, but we didn't see it (as I doubt it would have
gotten past the censors in the US--however nudity doesn't seem to be
a problem in other countries (thinking of the Stargate SG1 DVD with
the parts left in that didn't make it on broadcast TV)). After he
stepped out from behind the drape he pulled on a robe...

Hm....anyone got a Canadian or European version who
can tell us if there was any more visible? I have seen
that kind of editing in at least one Canadian movie I
saw on a US cable channel.

Mel, who thinks the hypercube dream might remind Nick
of his search....endless maze, constant traps,
seemingly no escape....Maybe I just might go for it at
sometime in the future.

I know one thing that can be said about ALL the Forever Knight characters...

They were definitely naked under their clothes. I'm quite sure there's even
some case of being nekkid, especially in Screed's and Natalie's cases.

Subject: Trophy Girl Question

In the end of this ep, why does Nick tell Nat that
Tracy saved his life? IIRC, the guy was going to whack
him with a bottle, right? He'd have gotten knocked
out, and Tracy probably would have been killed, but
it's not like there were any wooden stakes involved.
And it was Nat he was talking to, not someone who
didn't know his secret...so why'd he say it? Just in
case anyone else in range overheard the conversation?

There is no additional nudity in the Canadian version. There are no
special European versions of FK.

If I recall correctly, the only difference in the nudity factors was
in DK---Nick's first vampire snack, the comatose girl, was presented
bare-breasted to him for a European version. At least, that's what
I've heard. I've never seen it, if indeed that version exists.

Um. Right. Someone once told me in public speaking that it will help
control your nervousness if you imagine everyone in their
nothing-at-alls.

I personally have a problem thinking of the actors/esses in their
altogether in front of the cameras. There must be tons of people
wandering around, and there they are for literally all the world to
see. And this would involve time-as I am sure that scenes are not
perfect the first time through. However, I have had my eyes opened
(to put it badly) after attending Miss Saigon and then this Stargate
SG1 DVD. It seems that people don't mind it at all.

It doesn't exist. We got the Canadian version of all
eps. The girl is not barebreasted but it might be that
we get to see a little more cleavage (I don't know the
cut US version). Sorry to blow that little bubble, but
then I wouldn't be interested in the girl anyway,
naked or not, I'd rather have more of that see-thru
nightie stuff <g>

Me too.. but the undies were barely implied, you never really saw him "drop
trou".

Yes he does, but the real question is, does he have a nice chest? I would
really like to know. But then again, maybe the mystery is more fun.

I thought I recalled hearing there was more nudity in the
Candian version of Dance By The Light Of The Moon, the
one with Nick's strategically placed detective's
shield.

Nancy was referring to the European version, not the Canadian. You can
actually see in the closeups of Nick's feeding that her bodice is
conspicuously absent.
Ger, half blinded by the contact lenses and poised over the topless actress
is supposed to have asked in frustrated amusement, "Where do I bite her?"

I just reviewed my German version of Dark Knight (and
I'd consider that a 'European Version') and I admit
that there is more skin there but no real nakedness.
It's just difficult to see and I was practically
crawling into the screen.

BTW: In DbtLotM Nick's badge is also poised over
Anne's upper body.

That's the one that states that only 4 lines can be quoted from the previous
post. Not five. Not six. 4. If you think you can't make the point clear
without more, then paraphrase the rest.

We make allowances for mailers that put in extra line breaks and for
accidents. But simply overquoting will not do.

Thanks!
