Even FK has it's own problem with warrents, in one of the eps. (Fate Worse
than Death pops in my head, but I don't think that's right. It's a scene in
the police station with Nat, Nick and Schanke, and Cohen comes up to tell
them.) The suspect's apartment was searched before the warrent was issued,
so he had to be released and everything thrown out.

Ebay is a great place LOL.

While I'm at it, is there a place where I can find the
song lyrics? Especially 'Dark Side of the Glass'
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Found a slogan maker at http://www.thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan. It tends to
be a bit busy, but it does create some interesting slogans. Such as:

Mama Mia, That'sa One Spicy Lacroix!
A Different Kind Of Company. A Different Kind Of Knight.
A Day Without Knight is Like a Day Without Sunshine.
Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz, Oh, What a Schanke it is!
The Lighter Way To Enjoy Tracy.
Leave the Vachon to Us.
It's the Bright One, it's the Right One, that's Inka.
Lipsmackin' Thirstquenchin' Acetastin' Motivatin' Goodbuzzin' Cooltalkin'
Highwalkin' Fastlivin' Evergivin' Coolfizzin' Nat Lambert.

A word of advice, if you decide to play with this, DON'T DRINK!

I came up with:

The Nick that stays with you!
Whatever you're into, get into Lacroix.
A smooth-running Toronto is a relaxing experience!
The Caddy that likes to say Yes.
Break me off a piece of Nick's loft.
But I'd rather have a bowl of Captain Stonetree.

The site bounced around from one location to another before finally settling
in with it's own URL - could you perhaps have an old address? The permanent
address is: http://www.fkfanfic2.com I just checked, and that one's up and
running.

I had a FK moment when I read the David Eddings thriller -- mysteries
aren't his usual style, but this one was very good, very similar to the
type of stories Dean Koontz writes.

Anyway, the thing that leads the main character to the murder suspect
is that curare was used to paralyze the victims so they wouldn't
scream. No, none of them are vampires, but I still thought of FK.

I highly recommend the story if you like murder mysteries with a touch
of the strange & bizarre. The title of the book is Regina's Song.

Try here: http://www.naturesong.com/raven/soundtra.htm

"Dark Side of the Glass" is my favorite off the first one. And you made my
day, because I remembered that I have money from income tax and can get another
copy of the 2nd one. My first one has a scratch and I can't hear one song.

But Stonetree's legend doesn't just say killing
scorpions, it says burning them. Granted, I live in
AZ also, and I've never heard that legend either
(though I'm a relatively recent Arizonan.) I have no
idea why anyone would need to burn the scorpion, it
would be hard to get close enough to set it afire
without having killed it first, and once it's dead,
why bother burning it? Though given there are idiots
in this state who use sajuaro cactus for target
practice (and in one case weakened it to the point
that all 2,000 lbs. fell on the moron and crushed him
{hello Darwin Awards? <g>}) There is probably a genius
somewhere in this state using a flame thrower on a
scorpion.

My FK Moment or Moments took place yesterday afternoon. I've just come off jury
duty in Indianapolis is a case of two double homicides. Since the defense was
trying to persuade us that the defendant was psychologically coerced into
confessing, we were taken to see the interrogation room where the defendant was
questioned in the Indianapolis Robbery/Homicide Division of Police Headquarters.

As we passed through the offices I kept mentally comparing them to the two sets
for the offices in the two FK precincts, and my first, honest reaction to the
interrogation room was that it didn't look like the one on FK. :) I even kept
vaguely expecting Nick, Schanke, Stonetree, Cohen, Reese, or even Natalie to show
up.

Needless to say, I did _not_ say any of this aloud lest there be a mistrial on
the grounds that one of the jurors was not competent. <g>

Flakiest, eh? From the Slogan God's mouth to your dainty ear...

I returned the favor and asked the generator about you Nancy. I got:

Along those lines, I also got:

"High Priestess Jules Prevents That Sinking Feeling"

According to our hospital's applied HIPPA regulations, private health
information/records are permissible to be released to law enforcement
officials as long as the proper records release documentation is filed in
triplicate with the hospital. Said documentation is made available from our
immediate supervisors and must contain that persons signature. Thereby, if
Dr. Kipper was the blood bank supervisor, the nursed followed proper
procedure. She had probable dealt with others who had Schanke's
persistence, as have I, and learned that making a big deal about his parting
comments is more bother than it's worth. I've had people written up for
their attitudes in their dealings with our lab, but, believe me, what was
said was considerably worse than what Schanke said.
