Well, I've spent the morning updating my "movies to check" list,
and then searching the Satellite Guide...  and have found these:

About HYPERCUBE  and Sci Fi --
Well, the Events Calendar says it will premier on March 22,
but when you go to March 22 on the Schedulebot, ---
it doesn't show up.  If you search the Schedulebot for
Hypercube... then the April 5 & 10 dates show up....
So, your guess is as good as mine.. maybe they will
clear it up as the month goes on.

Subject: Admin: A few things about wars

First, we're nowhere near a war at the moment. There hasn't even been a call
for war proposals from Don and me.

Second,  wars are always announced well in advance. This is so that people
who don't want to play or read the war (you don't have to be playing in the
war to read about it) can avoid it. Fkfic-l has to be set to receive the war
topic. All you have to do is to be sure you're set either -war or +war.
Note: digests contain all posts so you can't be on digest and avoid the war.
I'm sorry, but that's a listserv software matter at PSU. Don and I can't
change it.

Third, Forkni-l has a war: topic.  Once we're actually preparing for a war,
there will be a reminder to use the war topic for all discussion.

Thank you kindly for helping me find the HH fic...as
for my own fic, I've got several things going at
once...especially anxious to get finished one called
'The Hunt'...got that Janette/Divia thing to get back
to too....

While I'm at it, I've seen several young Nick fics,
but has anyone ever done a young LaCroix fic? I'm
trying but it's not coming easily.


Someone called Amythyst(sp?)emailed me a while back
asking about if I had a website....I tried to mail her
offlist but the mail came back. To answer, no I don't
have a site yet, but want to build one...most of my
stuff is up at FF.net though.


Oh, BTW, I forgot the notation, but it is okay for
whoever archives to archive Dial N for Nightcrawler.

When in Rome by Erika Wilson is about young Lucius. Sins of the Fathers by Molly
Schneider happens in 69 AD.  There is a flashback to the child Lucius in Cousin
Jules' The Terrible Twos. A story about the "young vampire" Lucius is Footfalls
by Leslie GrantSmith. There is a story in the Blood Ties universe too, when
Methos first meets the child Lucius, I only can't remember the title now.

I'm sure that there are more stories written about LaCroix's early life. Help,
please?

Send a message to listserv@l......., with the command

"query forkni-l"

Don't put in the quotation marks.  They're only there to keep the listsev from
bouncing this as a mistake. (It would think I was sending a comand to the list
instead of the listserv.)

You have to originate the mail. Replying to this won't work. I've had people try
it that way.

For Fkfic-l, simply put that name in place of Forkni-l. Don and I can also check
if this doesn't work.

There's the Die Hards and the Mercs.  Both of these groups/factions are not
associated with a particular character, but still want to play in a War...
the Mercs get virtual chocolate and other payments for it though.

Or just do what my sister, Jess, does -- change factions every War.  She's a
DieHard (refuses to choose) but last War we Cousins hired her as a
receptionist.  We drove her mad, however, and who knows which faction she'll
torment next.  She's also played as a DieHard and a Ratpacker Merc.  I
think.  It's hard enough to keep track of *myself* during Wars!
