Instead of dying in a plane crash, Schanke was abducted by a
shadowy organization, and trained as a vampire hunter who
later, comes back to Toronto to offer the same job to Nick
and Natalie because it pays a lot and “those morons don’t
know they are chasing a fairytale.” Natalie finds the idea
thrilling and decides to go. Nick gets angry and brings both
of them across and so that now, they all have to hide from
the hunters.

With Halloween just a little more than a week away, I thought I'd post this.

If you're interested in seasonally related fanfic, check out
http://www.ScreedWasHere.com/fanfic/index.html#recommendations

I'm also accepting new fics with the main focus on Tracy, Vachon, Screed, or
Urs. Though, I'll consider any third season-related fics, if they seem to
"fit" the site.

The possibilities here are endless, depending only on how active one's muse is.
That's why I like what-ifs, because in fan fiction, anything is possible.

I agree *begins thinking* Hm...a regular kind of
abuction is a good one, and I could go wierd and make
it an alien abduction LOL. Sorry....I *so* want to do
a FK/Tracker cross. Anyway, there are a lot of
possiblities for the abduction one.

Another one: His death and Cohen's were faked because
someone was after them and they're living somewhere
else...ok I kinda borrowed it from a Due South
storyline, but it's a good idea.

You see a program on the onscreen guide called
'Enforcers' and half-expect it to say something about
a secret vampire organization (It was really about the
history of the ATF lol)

I have to agree with whoever it was that said LaCroix
was a loving father, he just didn't know how to
express it socially. My take is that he's haunted by
what happened with Divia, and that Nick is so
rebellious and Janette so independent. I think he
feels like he's done a bad job as a father.

Questions:
Screed-is he a true carouche or just a vampire that
eats rats? I thought he was feeding on people for a
while but I'm probably mistaken...right?

Janette's hair-What was different about it in Human
Factor and C&C? Did she dye it brown or was she
wearing a wig or something? It just looks different
from all the other eps

Mel (not looking forward to LN on Friday)

And on the same screen you also see a show called 'Whammy' and wonder what
fans are responsible for the latest spate of FK related shows. Add the new
Roman cop show and it really makes one wonder.
A KTK effort maybe? <g>

He's a true carouche. In Fever, it is explained the first thing he fed upon was
rats so that is what he craves as nourishment.

As for the "fiesty wenches," I think that's partially blood and a lot of sex.<g>
Just as Nick drinks cow blood, and used other blood in the past, Screed
occasionally wants some human female "vino."

Subject: Janette's hair color

Having been lucky enough to meet Deborah Duchene on three occcasions, I can
testify that her hair is actually dark brown.

My first thought was that she didn't want to dye it Janette's black again for
Human Factor, but this wouldn't explain why it was her own color in C&C. My
best guess is that she hever had her hair dyed, but that the vampire lighting
which was normally used for Janette caused her own very dark hair to look
black. When they lit her as they would a normal person, it came out dark
brown.

I know, having been lucky enough to see snapshots of Ger as he looked when out
from under the show's lights, that Nick's makeup was practically white-face so
that he would look suitably pale. This makes me think the explanation for
Deb's hair may be the same.

H'mm, my suggested explanation for what happened to Schanke, anyway, was that
he survived the crash but somehow ended up in the north under the impression
that he was a sled dog.

This would have been a crossover with Due South.

Benton Fraser has been trying to persuade Schanke that he's human and should
stop howling at the moon to say nothing of snarling at Dief.

Fraser Sr. Won't work, son. That's a loony.

Benton: No, he's isn't. He's an American.

Fraser Sr. I rest my case.

I never got any further.
