Subject: Please leave a note

Hi guys,

Thanks to all who checked out my website in the past
couple of months since it's been up. A few people asked
if I had a guestbook at that time. I didn't, but I
finally managed to make one (don't even ask how many
times I had to struggle with dear ole Microsoft to get it
right. Nevertheless, I sprained my ankle last night and
couldn’t go anywhere, so I got to finish it at last.)
Please, if you have time, take a look at the site and its
updates and leave me a note.

I've also added a full episode review page for season
1--seasons 2 & 3 soon to follow soon--and some other
stuff. Again, thanks to all the people who sent me
feedback through email. I'd love to read what you thought
about the updates in my guestbook.

Cheers and love to all
Sunny

Subject: Wandering thoughts.

Okay deal with me: Wandering thoughts at 2am.

The effect of being brought across is: Body is healed
to how it was when born as it where?
Ex: Leaper girl in one ep, brought across by Nicky:
was no longer a leaper.
Nat used nicky's blood to temporly Fix joey. something
was said along the lines of, it was caused by in
infection at 2 years old, wasn't born with it, so the
blood would help "clear" it up.....

But, then again, is facial hair and that stuck at what
it was when brought across? as in we do see nick with
stubble, without stubble, long hair short hair..
but like, does it grow back over night, and he has to
cut it again or what?
kinda like the tattoo thinggy... it goes away, the
skin goes back to normal within 24 hours.... so like,
does the hair go back?

Help clear my mind of these random, wandering
thoughts?
Also: when nick was brought across, he had long hair
right? or not? <fuzzy memory... remember 2am here...>

so yeah.
basicly, what is the cannon for this? and what about
the not so cannon? who ever came up with that term
anyways? what does that really mean in the tv/flim
world?

okay, enough rambling. I better post this now before I
add in more and get yelled at or something for just
rambling on the forum...

All I can speak for is the tattoo thing:

A tattoo is a wound--a minor one, but a wound never the less. Since a wound
takes time to heal in a human, once the scab is gone, you have a tattoo.
Now, I don't know how they came up with the idea that vampire flesh would
somehow 'erase' the ink, which is deposited *beneath* the top layer of skin,
unless they're rationalizing that since wounds received by vampires heal
faster, the skin is somehow 'sloughed' off.

Yes, the bug has struck me again. Run away! Run
away! <g>

You'll know Hell has frozen over when:

...Nick shows up for work in tight ripped jeans and a
muscle tee.

...LaCroix sinks all his assets into a project to create a
tofu-based blood substitute.

...Schanke becomes a regular at at Iron John gatherings.

...Janette turns the Raven into a roller disco.

...Vachon buys an all hemp wardrobe, rolls his locks
into dreds and becomes a hacky-sack champion.

The premise appears to be that mortal ills (leprosy,
battle wounds, etc.) would be healed, and then the body
would stay healthy forever. Being near-sighted in the
extreme, I always wonder if vampirism is a cure for
myopia. I'd hate to go through eternity wearing glasses
or contacts. <g>

I certainly hope not, although I saw a fanfic once that
had Nick having to cut his hair every day before going
to work. As for the beard, I think Nick is just too lazy
to shave every day. <g>

> Also: when nick was brought across, he had long hair

Continuity error. In the FB where we see Janette seduce
him, he has short hair. But in the FB with the see-
through nightie where he chooses to become a vampire, he
has long hair. So take your pick, he could have gone
either way.

Not "cannon" as in field artillery, but "canon" as in
the facts of the series as revealed by the on-air
episodes, and not speculation or unfilmed sections of
script. This applies to literary works (texts accepted
as authentic writings of an author, e.g. "the
Shakespeare canon") as well, not just tv/film.

Hope that helps,

You know Hell has frozen over when LaCroix and Natalie really do get into the
business of selling spring water <g>, and the proceeds are donated to the
Brabant foundation.

Your mother says something about Natalie and you have to remind
yourself that you have an aunt by that name, twice in less than
five minutes.
I can just imagine what's going to happen when I see her on
Sunday.

It worked better for me on the Molly's home page.
