Hiya Wolfy! Long time no hear from. I remember you from G5 and your
ecstatic response to meeting Ger for the first time. <g>

What's the chances of your being able to make it to Toronto/Stratford,
Ontario? Because Ger is playing Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady from July
14 to Sept 14. Although you are liable to have trouble getting a ticket
this late. Colm Feore (Walken in Blood Money) is playing HH until July
13 and so far MFL is the hit of the season. Most of the performances are
already sold out.

My Goodness, I know I have been gone for a long time but exactly how
many factions are there now? Dark-perk = evil Tracy ? How did you all manage
to run a War with so many factions? Years later I still have a twitch in my
left eye from leading during the old War's I can't imagine it now. You all
have got to have some serious organizational skills <g>.

I was just wondering--does anyone besides me think that the FK
vamps would have been even more glued to the screen than I was
during that show about blood on PBS this past Sunday?
That also reminds me of something that's been bothering me for a
long time: why does Nat have expired blood in the morgue? Is the
coroner responsible for disposing of it or something?

In my experience the Coroner does not keep new or old blood in the
morgue. The patients in there no longer need it <g>. Now, they will keep
blood samples for evidence. How do you explain your chain of evidence was
tampered with by a hungry Vamp? <eg>.

There does seem to be too many factions for sanity in the recent Wars, and some
WMs have tried to maintain boundaries by grandfathering who's allowed to play. I
think only factions who have participated in War 9 or earlier are allowed now,
and there was a minimum # of players per faction that had to be met in War 11 (I
think it was 4) as an attempt to temper the number of factions to something
resembling manageable.

If I recall correctly, the factions that participated in the last war were:

Knighties
Cousins
Vaqueras
FoDs
Natpackers
Ravenettes
Nick & Natpackers
Dark Perks
Unnamed Faction
Cousins of the Knight
Nunkies Anonymous
Die-Hards/Independents
Mercenaries/Ratpack

There are still additional factions that would be eligible to play if they chose
+ had the numbers, including but not limited to: Light Cousins, Dark Knighties
(Both of these have played as part of the Cousins in the some of the recent
wars), Perkulators, and the Woofpack.

And before anyone asks, I also seem to recall McLisa saying we weren't having a
War in 2002. <whew!>

I don't know about other places, but here in Reno, the Coroner keeps
*fresh* blood in the morgue. Although it is VERY rare, they have had
cases where the patient was still alive (and misdiagnosed on scene as
dead), and they had to give them blood and rush them to the hospital.
I have a friend that works in the Coroner's office here and I asked her
about this once, because I remember wondering why Nat would have blood in
the morgue.
She said that here (in Reno) too, the Coroner is responsible for draining
the bodies of whatever blood is left, and disposing of it, before
releasing them to the mortuary.
Of course, we aren't anywhere near the size of Toronto, so it may be
different there.

Speaking of blood: I heard on the radio this morning that Reno has a
critical blood shortage, and that it seems to be a nationwide problem.
Since January, the number of people donating blood has dropped by a huge
percentage.
I'd go and donate if I could, but since I just got over having cancer,
I'm not permitted to. :-(
SO... if you can donate blood, PLEASE go out and do so!!! You may be
responsible for saving a life!!
Do it in the name of the Knight!

Subject: Cube 2: Hypercube not ready yet!

I just talked with a representative of Lionsgate - the June release
for Cube 2 listed by Amazon & the IMDB is incorrect. According to
Lionsgate no date has been set yet. Also, Cube 2 will probably be
going to video/DVD. If there is any theatrical release it will be
small, limited to overseas and/or possibly Canada but no decision has
been made yet. Sigh!

The GWDFC's web site will be updated as soon as we have more information.

Meanwhile, anyone who has seen American Psycho 2 and would like a
review posted can send one to review@g....... and we'll add it to
our American Psycho 2 page!

Please feel free to cross-post this on any related lists!
