If you've tried to go to my site recently, you might have noticed that I've been
having problems with my forwarding domain, starbase-eprime.com, for the past
couple of days. My site (which has FK fan fiction) is still up on Geocities.
It can be accessed at the following url:

http://www.geocities.com/hansone.geo/index.html

My domain expired, but I've transferred it to Yahoo. The old registrar just has
it "on hold." I've asked them to cancel it so Yahoo can take over. I'm hoping
to get the problem resolved soon.

While "blood as sex" might be possible to give up, our vamps can't give up
blood completely, because it's food. So unlike caffeine, nicotine, alcohol
or ( heaven forbid) chocolate, the temptation for blood has to be followed
or the vamps will die. If blood is both sex and food, I would expect that
it's very difficult for the FK vamps to separate the 2.

Hey, at least they spelled "Geraint" correctly! Remember
how the press used to torture poor Ger's name? They were
merciless - and clueless: Gerraint, Jerryant, Graaint,
Gerrantt, Garyannt.

What a good sport he's been, all these years.

It's that or go nuts! I can sort of relate---you would be surprised at the many
ways people can spell Kaminski.

--Kaminsky
--Kaminisky
--Kamsky
--Kaminohi (my personal favorite---it's sort of Japanese!)

Fortunately, Nancy is personally unforgettable, so
even if folks misspell her name, everyone knows who
they're talking about!

Speaking of names - and forgive me if the list has
already addressed this, but I'm well-medicated and
I'm lucky if I can find my shoes - does anyone
remember what Ger said about his brother/family name
thing at last year's Gerthering?

Did he say that his brother has dropped the Emyr or
the Wyn part of his name? Or am I hallucinating
again? It's okay, you can tell me the truth. I won't
remember, but you can tell me.

Thanks,

Sami

You are indeed correct, Sami. Ger said his brother just goes by the name
of Wyn Davies now.

He said that he has dropped "Emyr" and is just using Wyn Davies as his
name. Ger and family still call him "Em".

HI . . . I've seen a lot of messages about Screed & rats

Somewhere on the net (I don't remember the address)
I saw that when someone is "brought over" they are extreemly
hungry & attack the first thing they see
After that, they have a taste for that species

Screed was a sailor,
when he was "brought over" all he had around him was rats
So once he bit a rat, he had a taste for rat blood - lucky for humans

(so maybe he lives on the street by choice, surrounded by rats)

Carouche must have been invented specifically for Forever Knight

SO . . . . People make up words all the time
I heard that D'OH was actuall being put in the dictonary

And simpsons fans know what a KWBIJO is

(Bart was tring to get out of a scrabble game
so he put all his letters down so he could leave
Homer wanted to know what it ment
Bart said, looking homer strait in the eye,
"A BIG DUMB STUPID APE WITH NO CHIN & A SHORT TEMPER")
