Subject: Plea for help

Would there happen to be anyone who could make me copies of all the eps
they've got? My sister moved out of my apartment recently, and took a big
chunk of my video collection with her. Unfortunately, she swiped most of my
FK eps. :o( Grrrr....

Please, if you can help, email me offlist at bbhinson3@a.......

Thanks a bunch in advance!

I remember the guy saying it happens occasionally, but not often. Dunno
why. Nothing actually stops them, tho, which is why I assume that's the
case with Nat.

Well, it's been put forward in fandom (and I'm inclined to believe it), but
never mentioned in canon.

No reason she couldn't, as a TV genius. ;-) Much less likely in the real
world -- exaggerating how young someone is likely to do things is an easy
shortcut for getting across to the audience how smart they are, rather than
using subtler and more realistic indications. (Or the writers/producers
will pick another number associated with achievements, like Daniel's 23
languages on SG-1.) It's possible, but *extremely* rare, for someone to do
things that way. Just being smart enough to do it is almost never a driving
enough reason.

Also, if the ER character you mention followed Nat's path, he'd need to do
one more year of med school, followed by about three years of general
residency and another two of forensic medicine internship -- things that
can't be cut short by piling on extra classes or going through summers
because the *norm* already pushes human physical limits. So he'd finish the
forensic intership at around 27, which means I was already figuring Nat's
education to be somewhat accelerated. :-)

Everyone is talking about FK/Highlander crossovers. Kevin Matsumoto wrote about
six which I like. They are on his website

Me too :) That was what first got me writing FK/HL crossover fic. Methos
and LaCroix are such great characters to play off of one another. A real
snark fest <g>

They are really powerful people, so powerful that they don't have to
advertise it. That's how Methos was able to pose as meek Adam
Pierson for so long. They are also very layered and complex people.

Saw a few notes mentioning they like stories featuring Methos as Nat's
teacher. I liked Kevin Matsumoto's series which Stephanie mentioned as well
as these two stories by Cath Boone.

When Day Breaks
Time to Spare

They're available at the FTP archive site.
(Caution though, they're not N&Npacker stories)
