Subject: Back from France

Hi All

I had the pleasure of going to the south of France last week. I can't tell
you how many castles and churches we got to visit that date back to the time
Nick would have been alive as a mortal. It was truly amazing to walk the
halls and let the imagination run wild.

So For the entire 10 days FK and Nick were never far from my mind. I got to
buy a bunch of nice Knight trinkets as well as a really Kewl handpainted
knight in armor chess set ( dragging it back home was no fun)

Is she divorced from Commissioner Vetter? And does he have a first name?

As far as I know, I don't think they are divorced. Her
first name is Barbara.

Yes, and Richard. :-)
I they were in the process of a divorce in one of the episodes (I forget
exactly which one).

We have a family in our church with the last name Vetter, and they have a
niece named Tracy.... who just happens to be a homicide detective! I
think she lives in the mid-west.

Well, I finally finished all of the Clark Cornucopia ("g"), and skimmed a few
more. I skipped Kylie's because I've read them a number of times and am saving
them for a later treat (and I also hope she will have the next story finished
before I come to the last completed -- I already know I'll be pulling my hair
out if I get there with nothing to look forward too!). "g"

I just finished Mary Combs' "De'tour," which is such a beautifully written
story. It somehow manages to please the UFfer (remember, it's not just a slash
list!), the N&Npacker, and even the DT in me, and leaves me moved and deeply
satisfied. ('Course, I'm completely curious to know what happened to my dear
Schanke, good ol' Tracy, and Vachon and Crew!)

I also finished her "Coming Home" yesterday, which is also a wonderfully moving
story. How happy that there are a few more to read before I have to move on
from this excellent writer! :o)

I've been begging Mary to finish her "Schanke in Heaven"
story for quite a while. Maaaaary! See? There are more
of us out here who want to see this! Please?

No pressure, of course. <g>

I love Mary Combs' stories and reread them regularly. In
fact, I think I'll read "De'Tour" on my lunch hour today.

Appreciatively,
Nancy Kaminski

Speaking of FK/HL crossovers, I've been trying to remember if
there was a story where Last Knight is followed by Nat waking up
as an Immortal.
