Congrats to those in the U.S., anyhow. ;) For those of us on this side of
the border, maybe we can work at getting Showcase to kick the show back into
rotation: feedback@s....... is the e-mail address to write to about
programming. :)

Does anyone have the list of Alice in Wonderlandisms from Curiouser and
Curiouser that Lelond and Bedard sent us after the episode aired? I've
temporarily mispaced mine.

I want to be sure to give a special "thank you" to all the KtK folks who
kept urging us to write TPTB and who set up and managed the auctions. From
all of us who gave up hope, at least occasionally, (myself included) - it
wouldn't have happened without you.

Just a thoguht about the new ad. Is it too late to change the format to
include a "thank you" to Sci Fi along with our request for more?

Thank you all again for all your hard work and continuing belief.

Forgot one important item in my last post. I hope I'm not stepping on the
toes of our wonderful KtK members, but how do we make sure that the marathon
gets truly astronomical ratings? Cause it may be possible that Sci Fi is
using the marathon to gauge how much *real* support there is for FK before
either bringing it back in syndication or trying to do a new movie?

BTW, weren't we told that the reason that FK couldn't be shown anymore was
because Sci Fi couldn't get the rights renewed? If so, how did that change?

Another interesting thoguht. Since the last couple of marathons were hosted
by a member of the cast, is there any way to find out if that will happen
this time?

And, as a "heads-up" for April : (and hope it's not an
April Fool's Joke)

SCI FI Channel April 1st 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. ET/PT
Satisfy your every immortal desire with SCI FI's 12-hour FOREVER KNIGHT
marathon.
It's 12 hours, 12 episodes, 12 bites on the neck (at least).

Hopefully this means that Forever Knight will be back on the SciFi channel :-}

I sincerely hope Sci-fi puts FK back on its schedule but before I break out
the Drambuie, I'd like to see for sure. They've run marathons of Max
Headroom and Brimstone without putting them back in rotation (too bad--I
love both of those shows).

Don't forget that Nigel has a recurring role as Prince in LEXX, which has
something like nine eps to go yet. If you watch Dog Park for Michael

Chat with Nigel Bennett, who currently stars as Prince on the SCI FI
series Lexx . Enigmatic, mysterious, a leader on the planet Fire,
Prince is the Machiavellin villain with a hidden agenda that can only
mean trouble for Xev, Kai and Stan. From 1992-1996 Bennett also
starred as the powerful and seductive Lucien LaCroix in the Gemini
nominated television series Forever Knight. In 1995, he received the
prestigious Gemini Award for his role in the series, and it was on
this show where he made his directorial debut.

Sigh. You're right. I'm back to lurking while I teach myself the

BTW: Does anyone have any bright ideas for having the 12 hour flu on

I agree with Eve. I'm happy anyways because a return
of FK in any form, any where means a return of old and
new fans and some much needed attention. Only, if I
could find a place up here in Vancouver that has SciFi
channel, my life would be more complete. I'm checking
out hotels as we speak. There is no way that I'm going
to miss the next marathon. But I'm not too hopeful.

Congratulations to all :)

Hi -

Sorry if this is a dupe or anything. I've been offlist for a bit.

A local free paper, the SF Bay Guardian, has a column in this week's issue that
has a brief, and positive, mention of the KtK campaign. Most of the article is
about Buffy, and there are no pictures. Still, it was kinda fun to catch the
mention.

The article mentions: <snip> a cameo by one Forever Knight regular (dressed
en vamp) in an early episode of Angel <snip>

Who was that mystery vamp? Can anyone tell me? StarWorld out of HongKong is
currently broadcasting first and second season eps of Angel
Trying hard to spot that FK alumni.

Gee, this is amazing. They have a whole paragraph
about FK, I never thought anyone would notice. Wished
I had this before I wrote my essay, but it still might
not be too late since the essay is just being reviewed
by my prof. I don't know what to say about their
calling Natalie, Nick's "lab-geek gal pal", but I
agree with their take on Buffy, and am very satisfied
with their acknowledgment that Angel is influenced by
FK, or should we call it *cough* rip-off *cough*.

Thanks for sharing this with us

Subject: SciFi Marathon & Canadian fans

Ok, here is my plea (call me nuts but hear me out<g>)

Are there any Canadian fans at least close to British
Columbia and the US West Coast border? Ever since I
heard about the marathon I'm having these crazy ideas
about getting a room at a hotel on the other side of
the line (say Seattle for example), drive there on
March 31, watch the marathon and drive back on April
2. Now I haven't even thought of how to plan this but
if there is even one other person in it with me, I
might go ahead and do it. So please, if you are close
to the border too, and want to watch this amazing
event, drop me a note and we'll see if we can do
something about it.

Just a thought
Love
-Sunny

I remember that list! I think I found a link here (5th one down, right?),
but it was dead when I tried it - someone else should give it a shot in case
my computer is b0rking it:

Hi!

The only former FK cast member to appear on Angel was John Kapelos - and he
did not play a vampire but a hotel employee. Hmmm... it wasn't a vampire
hotel...though it was cursed...

Of course, during the first (or second) season of Buffy, there was a vampire
who looked amazingly like Uncle Nunkies and his name was Lucius.

Food for thought :)

Peace,

I have never heard of this before, although I have to admit I don't watch Angel.
I wonder if they're confusing Angel with the _Buffy_ episode in which a
vampire-themed party had a brief shot of a figure who looked just like LaCroix
standing right inside the door and sounding very him like when he said hello.
Some FK fans thought it must be Nigel doing an uncredited cameo, but it wasn't.
It probably was an in-joke, though.

KtK is urging everyone that is able to watch this marathon.even if you have
to go out that day, turn on every tv you have to the Sci-fi channel... tell
your friends/family,co-workers everywhere to watch.
Also we ask that as many as possible please email Sci-Fi to thank them for
this
The reaction of this marathon will indeed be our perfect opportunity to show
Sci-fi that we are still all here and want more!!
so spread the word, and buy tapes!! :)

EEEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so excited! Even for a marathon, I've never gotten to see
the real thing, only the taped stuff! This is going to be COOL!

I am planning to tape it that day. However, turning on a TV won't be an option
until the evening. But in the US, I believe they have a way to take into
account those who tape shows for ratings.

Emily, wishing it was April 1st today and not March 1st.

My understanding of the way television ratings work is you actually have to be
one of the designated "being polled" families. Otherwise, they have no idea what
you are watching or when.

Thus, the best thing you can do, is THANK the Sci Fi Channel for airing the
marathon.

Maybe KtK can post a reminder complete with addresses for snail mail AND e-mail
the day of the marathon when we are still very excited. I know I'd be happy not
only to e-mail, but to also send a thank you card to the appropriate people.

Maybe a gift basket is also in order? Maybe ... a basket of wee lil' ratsies?

Wot? Ya don't think they'd be loikin' tha'?

If it is a hoax, whoever did it had better start running
