LaCroix: Age of the Empires

Nick: Myst and the sequels

Nat: Dr. Brain's Castle/Island

Tracy: Life

Vachon: Hunter

Schanke: Where in ... is Carmen Sandiego?

Urs: Oregon Trail

Janette: Barbie Interactive Fashion CD

Screed: I don't remember the name of the game where you have to save the
mouse from the cat(s) and have it eat the cheese in the middle of the
screen.

That's my list for the main cast(s), I don't want to go into details with
the captains. If I did that, than I would never finish it. I just
couldn't make up my mind with them.

know you have the Loftworks site already. I sometimes go there also. I
just thought you would appreciate another site.

Yeah, KC, I think you hit the nail on the head here. But whatever game Natalie
enjoyed, I think it would have to be some kind of intellectually challenging one
'cause, you know, "solving a puzzle is its own reward." (Yeah, right, Natalie

McLisa worries:

Oh, dear, I hope we'd notice! The problem could well be that the internet
doesn't deliver every message to everyone at the same time. There can be
hours of delay.

Sunny! Kewl list!
Only you didn't do one for the Cousins of the Knight. Shame on you! Do I
have to assign cork duty? (*grumbles....get bogged down in RL and the
youngsters lose all sense of priorities..*)

You wrestle the gun away from Nick who wants to shoot LaCroix in the foot
during one of their squabbles (even though as a Knightie you agree, but
since you *do* have the sensibilities of Cousins living in the same Comfy
Cottage... well...) but during the struggle he shoots you in the foot. The
Knightie-tendencies then have a communual group hug with an angsty Nick
while the Cousin-tendencies try to find Nat's phone number while rolling
eyes with their Uncle. All ends well. Considering.

There is the Sim series, but I've not played any except Sim City.
Hmmm...maybe Tetris? The Monkey Island games are pretty funny, but
I can't see Nat playing them. There's always Solitaire, or the
slightly more challenging Freecell.

Top ten ways to get yourself noticed on forkni-l:
10. Refer to LaCroix as "Q-Tip Head"...repeatedly
9. Debate whether 'brick' means solid and reliable, or just a dolt
8. Post...a lot...every day...
7. Ask if this is the Red Cross Donor's Group List
6. Open a discussion on automobile color names of the 50s and 60s (San Remo
Turquoise?! Really?!)
5. Scrutinize every episode until you discover a long-overlooked Nick-Knack
4. Make PG-13 allusions to the desirability and/or state of un-clothed-ness
of a major character
3. Accidentally refer to LaCroix and/or Nick as (pick one) Prince, Kai,
Krycek, Mulder, Angel, MacLeod--or Buffy
2. Choose a character at random to pick on, just to stir things up a little
1. In your very first ever posting, engage Mary Combs in a discussion about
the Middle Ages--in which you are *wrong*. <raises hand and cringes>

Actually, you left out two additionally ways:

1) Announcing loudly and proudly the fact that Natalie and Screed have a
hotty-totty-ratty-bratty love affair going on is CANON!

2) Try to argue with Libs (ME!) that the above is NOT true...

         Greetings!
I am in a really festive mood this Halloween and I am wondering if
there is any fanfic that has a Halloween theme. Just let me know
the titles and where to find them. Thanks!
Oh, FYI, I am over 18 so they don't have to be rated G.

There was a little bit of a Halloween challenge a few years ago.
I started it.
You can find at least my own story at www.fkfanfic.com under Tim
Phillips or the story's title of A Very Happy Halloween.

There were other stories written at that time - and others that got
pointed to that had been written previously - but I don't think there
is a collection of Halloween-themed stories anywhere.

The question about the vampire powers got me thinking... we're currently in
the midst of a school strike here so I've had lots of time to do that
lately. ;)

Natalie once expressed an interest in whammying--"You gotta teach me how to
do that!"--and I was just wondering, which one power do you think the
Forever Knight characters would choose? This applies more to the mortal
characters, although I suppose you could also include the vampires--which
one power is their favourite?

Also, on the reverse side, which one physical setback do you think bothers
the vampires the most? Not being able to go out into the sun? Not being able
to eat? Not being able to... enjoy other things?

I'm curious to hear everyone's answers.

Eve.

Makes a hell of a headline, doesn't it? <g>

I had this beyond bizarre dream last night in which
I think I *was* Nicholas, and I was with LaCroix
on this train that seemed to be traveling through
dimensions (at one point I know it was traveling
through Germany<g>) and even went under water
in the ocean. The weird thing was, we could still
breathe under the ocean. There was no animosity
towards LaCroix in this dream, I remember that
I as Nicholas wanted very much to stay with him,
as we kept getting separated.

I have no clue what it meant. I don't write 'em I
just watch 'em on the insides of my eyelids. <g>

That would bother me the most: you can't go anywhere that closes
before nightfall (the mall, bookstores, the library) except for wintertime
when nightfall comes before 6 PM. During the summer you're very
limited as to where you can go.

Lucky. My show, the one inside my eyelids, seems to have been cancelled along
with SciFi and the other stations. Now I can't get FK anywhere, but in
daydreams and fanfic.

I don't dream of FK that often. I do remember the first
one, in which I was *Natalie*, doing some very passive
agressive things to get Nick's attention. I really think
my subconscious dialed the wrong number on that one.
