I had to cancel my Vacation to wolfville, due to my mothers ill health and
cancer surgery. I have three 5th row seats to Ger's play center area.

Also rooms are available for the 11th and 12th at The FARM HOUSE INN in
Canning pretty close to The play site. Doug Bray at (902)582-7900 (He gave
me persission to put the info on the list) Its a B&B. The room has a Queen
bed and a couch bed I believe. Its very resonalble.

Bonnie Pardoe enquired about the order in which to organize the War posts.
Several people noted preferences for "as the action occurred".

On the one hand, this is one of the more logical methods; on the other,
many things are happening at once during a War. And on the Vampbear's hind
paw (the one that isn't autographed), a lot of stories are interlaced (my
POV/your POV; while we were doing this, somebody else was doing that) and
unless you're willing to edit and interlace the posts, this will be an
absolute impossibility.

One method around this is to create a time table of events (it's what I do
with the Celtic GlowWorms' Wartime adventures). Plot one axis with time,
the other with each separate story that is happening at that time. While
this can be done with a small faction, it's probably difficult at best to
do over the whole War.

Adding even more complexity to the site, one could conceivably index each
post by date(s), time(s), location(s), factions, and characters (including
those brought in just for this War -- like the skunks or the Old
Not-So-Dead Guy), to allow a reader to search on any combination of those,
and to report back/create a table of posts indexed by timestamp and
viewpoint. A reader could then navigate by asking, "What did the UF do when
they were skunked?" or "Where did the skunks go after they attacked the
UF?" Unfortunately, this last method *is* highly labor- and
skill-intensive, and may limit the types of accounts/ISPs/Web Hosting
Services on which such a site could be mounted.

WHAT picture??? This is one I'd like to see and I didn't know it existed.

A picture of Screed 'as alluded me?

I'd like the url too, if it exists.

As far as I know the picture is fictional. It was a "gift" from the cousins
to the Vaqueras in War 11. It made wonderful kindling for our marshmallow

No, the picture is real and quite amusing!

Within was a beautiful painting -- a work of art based on "Gabrielle
d'Estrees and One of Her Sisters", a painting in the Louvre by an anonymous
artist, c. 1595. This one, however, had replaced Gabrielle d'Estrees and
the sister with Screed and Vachon.

Like kissin' yer sister, indeed.

BWAAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

I LUV h'it! I haven't had a chance to read the War yet, so thanks for pointing
it out.

The Ratpack, by the way, has a long tradition of ... different interpretations
of great art. There's some up on the Ratpack's page. Go to:

http://www.screedwashere.com

And link to "artwerk."

I'll have to get around to reading the War ... This "gift" reminded me of when
the Ratpack replaced the Vachon's Church webpage with a Screed page a few Wars
ago.

From "Horoscopes by Joyce Jillson" for yesterday, July 25th,
under Libra which also happens to be my sign:

"Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 23): Enjoy new kinds of friendship with a
wider circle of people whose lives are quite different from
yours. You find great bargains with some effort. Sell your junk
at a swap meet. Vibes are right tonight for recapturing a former
love interest."

Point one, general query: Would those of you who missed the WAR please raise
your virtual hand?

Point Two: Who is the Old-Not-So-Dead-Guy?

And finally, a sort of YKYBWTMFKW moment: In the lobby of my local car wash,
there are a series of pictures (5 to be exact) of the Car Wash. In the middle
of the tableau is the largest picture of the Car Wash at night with all its
lights on, etc. The point of all this?
Stamped in gold foil at the bottom of the print is the photographers name: D.
Brant!
All of the pictures were taken at *night*!!! It seems that 'ol Nick has moved
on to a new identity and a new profession!

if there is an old Cadillac convertible anywhere in the photos you
may have the proof we need to awaken everyone from the living
nightmare that Last Knight is real!!!

Nick lives!!!

That would be the mummy who was inadvertently brought to life at the
NunkAnon Shrine.
