You are idly flipping channels and stop at the travel
channel because they are in Toronto and are going up
the CNN Tower. You think 'what would that look like
at night' and then they mention there is a wine cellar
up there and you say: "That would be just perfect for
the vampire community." Sigh! Longing for a visit to
Toronto.

Boy, does that man look good with a lip ring or what? <g> I personally love
Lexx, for much the same reason I love FK--it asks deep questions and doesn't
give you any easy answers. >>>

YES, to everything Molly said in her post! I could go on and on about what a
brilliant character Xev is and why, but obviously I won't do that here. I
will say here, however, that Nigel is just fantastic as Prince, and somewhat
LaCroix-esque. And another thing FK fans will appreciate--Nigel uses what is
essentially his LaCroix voice for Prince (very different from Nigel's own
voice, as many/most of you know)! At least he did last season...I imagine
that will also be true this season.

So we had a little bit of fresh Ger recently (Outer Limits, and the Robocop
miniseries in a few days), and now it's time for some fresh Nigel! Can't
wait!!!

Yeah, I'll watch LEXX to see that : )

BTW, has anybody read "My Brother's Keeper" yet? Keeper of the King was cool
and all but WHY does the cover have Dunn in a cowboy hat with the Dallas sky
line in the background?

Speaking of, where can one find "My Brother's Keeper?" I've managed to
strike out at every bookstore I've visited across about four different
states. Is my best bet to try new or used bookstores online somewhere, like
half.com, abebooks.com or bn.com? Or is it only available by ordering
directly from the publisher?

I bought it at Borders, in Plano... I also saw it in Barnes and Noble. It was
shelved with the "horror" section.

No, Jen. If there is a Comic book shop in your area they are apt to have it
and if they don't they can special order it for you.

Lone Star Comics in Arlington, TX (my current city of residence) has a few
copies sitting on their book shelf waiting for me to finish Neil Giaman's
American Gods so I can read it.

Just got back from seeing Legally Blonde. I swear John Kapelos is in it in
a very small part, but I haven't been able to find him credited
anywhere. If it wasn't him it was someone who was whole lot like him.

I read the book about 6 weeks ago. It's much better than the first. Dunn's
character is explored much deeper in this 'chapter.' You really get to know
him better and how he was brought across.
Enjoy....and join us in waiting for the next installment.

I purchased mine in Border's. They had three copies in May. Best to try
Amazon on line or Barnes and Noble on line. Otherwise I could give you the
ISP number so you can order it from your local store.

A great read. One you'll not want to put down.

You are very right. It is indeed John Kapelos sportin' a goatee.

I think the problem is that the title being used to search is incorrect.
It's actually "His Father's Son". I think the other title was the working
title. Try plugging the other one in and you should have better luck :)

Of course I forgot that the title had changed from a working title.

Em, I read through several replies to this before I realized: the proper
title would help in the finding: "His Father's Son" is the title of the
new book, "Keeper of the King" was the original.

Anyway, a day spent in a bookstore, even if you don't find what
you're looking for, is never wasted. <g>

Well, having just seen the premiere of Season 4--his voice is rather

You'll have to watch tapes of Season 3, because in Season 4 (although
playing the same mercurial-Machiavellian character), so far he's in a suit
and tie--still looks yummy, though! <drool...>

Thanks for all the suggestions, folks. Will look for it under both titles at
some used book dealers online (not in the habit of paying full price for
anything unless I have too). :-)

And, by the by, saw Lexx for the first time in awhile and have to say I liked
the Earth version of Prince (though I didn't finish watching). The whole
lip-ring thing just got my goat last season, for some reason. Heh.

Greetings...

I was at the movies last night and I saw "The Score" with Robert DeNiro...
and who did I see in an important supporting role? It was Gary Farmer (a.k.a.
Capt. Stonetree), portraying a bodyguard at the night club which DeNiro (who
plays a retierd thief called upon to do his last job). Needless to say,
seeing Capt. Stonetree on the big screen made my night. :-)

Peace and much love to all...
