Subject: *KickStart The Knight* June Address Update

This is posted with permission from Lisa and Don. :)
Thanks to you both !

This is the most up to date list.
Please disregard earlier address lists you have.
Post this to any list that you have permission from.
............................................................................

....................................
Write for the Knight! (this section is for snail mail writers! (VERY
important to keep doing!)
First i would like you to all know from this point on, our very own Kristin
is the new KtK letter counter. On behalf of all the KtK crew we would like to
thank her for taking on the resposbility of this enormous task, and also
thank with all our hearts Rae,for doing it all these past years. We will
always be grateful.
Please,Please! write those letters!!! and be sure to let Kristin know how
many, to whom and when you sent them so we can all know how strong the effort
continues to be.We dont want TPTB thinking they are winning and that we have
gone away, do you? her # is:kris1228@s........
Addresses to write to are both on her site (http://knightvision.4ever.cc) and
the official KtK site (http://members.aol.com/ktkpage/index.htm). and
http://www.ktk.op.nu
Lets redouble our efforts and really let "The Powers That Be" know that we
want more Forever Knight!
Do not be discouraged just because its not shown now!! schedules change on
Sci-Fi all the time. Before you know it, fall will happen, perhaps if we try
really hard now, we can have it back by then!!!
The main idea is to be honest. Tell them your age,
where you live, how long you've been watching Forever Knight and how much
you'd like to see it back on TV. Do not, however, put anything on the
envelope that might indicate you are a FK fan or are writing about the show.
These letters are often considered "fannish" and you run the risk of being
ignored.Be business-like...explain why you're writing and why you think it
will be profitable to have the show back in production. Tell them what kind
of Forever Knight merchandise you have bought, and what you would like to
buy. BUT TELL THEM YOU WANT MORE FOREVER KNIGHT!

*************URGENT!!!....**************
As you know we got this news regarding this:
They are in the middle of a hostile takeover of USA Networks. V/U currently
owns 40% of USA and are now trying to gain complete control of the Network
from Barry Diller.
This maybe a good time to write a few letters to Mr. Messier of V/U asking
for more FK.
Seagram's is now owned by Vivendi/Universal in France. Their CEO is Mr. Jean
Marie Messier. As of Jan 1st, the Seagram's crest will be removed from the
front of the building at Park Ave and 51st Street in New York City. The end
of an era.
This now means we have a new person to target for more of FK.
Vevendi/Universal now owns the rights to USANetworks. So you can now add the
following address to your list of 'people in the know' to write to on behalf
of FK.

Mr. Jean Marie Messier, CEO
Vivendi/Universal Corp.

(Alot of Forever Knight fans have requested that we try asking another

decided to test the waters...
This month we are continuing to ask TNT to consider having Fk on thier
schedule...
Here are the #'s to use.........

KtK's efforts cannot succeed without back-up from the fans....so please, take

Hmmm... Not familiar with this scene, but I can *not* see LaCroix as
Lucy!!! He would want to think of himself as unique - not a mirror image!
He probably sneers better than Richard anyway!!

Well of course he did! <gg> I have the audio book of Nigel's and it is

Speaking of those letters, since my last announcement, I have only gotten 3
people who actually wrote some. Those people were also from across the
globe too. We're not going to get anywhere if you don't start writing again.
We need "everyone" on this list. Please don't give up and lose hope.

There will also be a new banner for the letter writing campaign that will be
up on my site tomorrow.

So please write, write, write those powers that be!

Subject: Blitzing for the Knight: June

Hi everyone,

Yes, the blitzes to TPTB are still going! I'm going to continue the monthly
reminders and updates as well. Forget what their about or new to the list?
Read below...

This entire month we are focusing on three powers that be, Tristar, Sci-fi,
and TNT!

A lot of FK fans have wondered why we don't approach other networks about
possibly reviving the series. Well, we will continue to include TNT, and of
course Sci-fi and Tristar.

E-mail: tnt@t.......
(and place in the subject line: "To The Attention Of The Vice-President of
Programming")

You also may call TNT's Viewer Comment and Question Line at (404) 885-4538,
however we ask that any phone calls be in addition to letters and e-mails.

For snail mail, send to:
Vice-President of Programming
TNT 1010 Techwood Drive, NW
Atlanta, GA 30318

Its going to be a big dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that would
love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make sure
everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new
episodes and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down,
take that few minutes and send off three e-mails? It could make all the
difference in the world!

Remember, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK
happen!!!

For the "whole" month of November, we are asking everyone to blitz the
feedbacks!!! For the month, you can re-use the e-mails you did before, or
write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying, "Bring Back
Forever Knight."

Important info to add in your letters: During this current blitz, we could
ask that an upcoming "SCIography" ep feature FK! So far, they plan to do eps
on "Battlestar Galactica", "Quantum Leap" and "Sliders", so asking them if
they plan to do a "SCIography" ep about FK can't hurt.

Also, Sci-Fi is airing "Sci-Fi World", which is a 6 hour block of sci-fi
programs with a different theme each day. It's also possible to ask them if
FK will be a part of the "Sci-Fi World" programming block!

ALSO REMEMBER!! Sci-fi will be changing its schedule around again soon....
lets make sure that we get Forever Knight on!!!

Sci-Fi's E-mail: feedback@w.......

Sony/Tristar Mail Form: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html

When e-mailing TriStar,(especially) give as much personal info as you
can...rather than just an e-mail name. A bit more personal carries more
weight with TPTB.

If you have a FK website and would like to link to my "Save FK" page about
the blitzes feel free to use the banner I made (found on my "Save FK" page).

Long Live the Knight!

<< Carrie, Proud Knightie who has been known to dabble in FK fanfic ... from
time to time.
 >>

Yes, I know this is late, but with my little brother's wedding, life, a dead
modem, more life and other things I've been really behind in my email. I'm
trying to catch up and stay caught up.

I remember being almost ready to post Nightmare when Carrie posted Rage. They
both dealt with the same subject but in totally different ways. The only
similarity was what happened to Natalie, yet at the same time it was
completely different. (Does that make any sense?)

I also remember working on Devastation when I heard about the FK ep Fever and
wondered if everyone would think I was copying the show. And then I decided I
didn't care, as I had started my story long before I heard about the ep.
And I even wound up referencing the ep in my story.

I don't read slash 99.99 percent of the time. I am willing to give just about
any story or author a chance. I love to see all the different combinations
out there. It's what keeps it interesting. The only thing I hate to see in a
story is anything that makes it really hard, or impossible to read - really
bad grammar, horrible spelling, no punctuation (yes, I read a story like
that), misspelling the character's names (and I don't mean simple typos,
although I do hate those too), and really bad writing (plot, characters,
idea, etc). I've seen bad stories which I read because the idea was sound,
the author just needed to work on it a bit more. I do know how hard it is to
post your very first story (and then every one after that). I know that the
only way to become a better writer is to keep at it (my stories are a prime
example of this). I remember when I posted Devastation I was sure people
were going to hate it because of the content. I didn't get one nasty letter.
I did get a lot of people who really enjoyed it and wanted more instantly.

I write whatever the characters tell me to write. I love stretching and growing
as an author. I do try to stay within the boundries for the most part
but will let the characters grow. Once in a while I do get silly and
sometimes they may stray a little, but that's okay with me, as who's to say
how they would react in every situation.

I write stories that I want to write and hope someone else will enjoy them.

Remember, writers need to know their work is being read. Even if all you say
is "good story" take that thirty seconds and tell them so. I love to hear
what people liked, what they did not like, and even how they would've done
it. It helps me grow as a writer, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with
these thoughts.

Judy
