Heck, why not? Uncle can be much more forgiving with the furry four-legged
Cousins than he tends to be with the rest of us. To whit, the point in War
9 (?) at which Duncan (one of my Cousinly kitties) dropped a glowing pink
rat corpse directly on Uncle's head. From the ceiling of his office at
CERK, if I remember correctly. It was War 9 where we had glowing pink
rats, wasn't it?

Which reminds me, any word on when the next War will hit?

Subject: KtK's Seventh Online Auction!!

This is a slightly belated announcement for Kickstart the Knight's latest
online auction to raise funds for what we hope will be a full page ad in
Variety, or possibly another trade mag! We have *lots* of great FK stuff,
including scripts and *genuine FK props*!!!! The auction runs today through
next Sunday at 11:59 p.m. For full details and to see the auction items,
please visit the KtK website at http://www.ktk.op.nu or our alternate url at
http://members.aol.com/ktkpage or go directly to the auction page at
http://members.fortunecity.com/ktknight/auction.html

One note...we apologize for hosting the auction on a "free" site that has
ads. It was the only way we had enough webspace to include all of the pics
of items.

Have fun and bid high!

Glowing pink rats? How was this done, out of curiousity?

This is giving me ideas for a fic, but I think glowing pink tribbles would be
more interesting than rats. <g> Too bad there are no tribbles in Forever
Knight!

I can just imagine a vampire trying to figure out what the furry little bugger
was, and if it would taste any good.

If you're waiting for me to answer something you posted to kyer@p.......
please be patient. Finally--finally!--discovered the problem (corrupted
connection link) and am currently whacking through the ton of mail in my box
before the poor thing totally collapses (or cries "Uncle!" hoping Lacroix
can drain it faster than I can. <eg>)

Emily, I'll get right on your stuff just as soon as I tame the Beast!

Taking a moment from my whacking, because this is too good an image.

1. Janette trying different hairstyles and accessories on her tribble.
2. Nick in a loft full of tribbles. They've even gotten into his
refrigerator. (picture the poor bartender in the original Star Trek scene
for this.)
3. Lacroix lifting a disapproving eyebrow from hissing tribbles that react
to him like they do Klingons. (Seems Nick needed a place to put some of his
'extra' at the loft and decided to use the Nightcrawler's radio station.)
4. A tribble falling in love with said eyebrow because it looks like a
svelte tribble. (hey, I'm tired and e-mail fatigued here.)

I got them, but only just now due to my e-mail problems.
Did I send you back part 2? Can't remember. Darn tired.
Will try to review your 3 and 4 soon as can. I'd do it right now as I'd
rather read story than whack e-mail, but Outlook box is threatning to burst
on me.

LOL! And, poor Nat having taken home some tribbles to her apartment, can barely
find Sydney in all the fur the next day.

I was bored and wrote a short little program, to randomize 100 FK-related words
that could be used in a poem. They're not moveable, but the concept is similar
to Magnetic Poetry. Let me know if you like it.

them? LOL

And what would happen if one was brought across.... Lots of little
bloodsucking balls of fur seemingly harmless to their handlers until a
little prick.

Considering how fast they multiply (particularly when well fed),
imagine how many of them there would be if they were immortal....

Or the tribbles' reaction to LaCroix and other vampires.
