Actually there are more than two of us, though the others don't post very
often. One thing, when I'd been on the list for a little while, one of the
other Lauries, who signed herself Laurie MercBard, emailed me suggesting that
I come up with a nick of some kind to add to my first name to prevent
confusion. I'm descended from the clan McDonald of the Isles, hence the nick
I chose.

All I know is that the genesis of where/how LaCroix came by that sword pin
would make a very interesting story. I suppose there already are some good
"Pinhead" stories out there? Anyone?

My town has Knight's Taxi Cab Service. I've also seen a Knight's
Transportation big rig trailer parked by K-mart. Its has a Knight on
a horse on the side. Makes ones mind start to turn.

If you mean, why do you end up at a Campbell's Soup site, I can't help you out
there. But www.lacroix.com does indeed send you to Campbell Soup.

Why am I suddenly thinking of tomato soup? <g>

So *that's* why LC led Nick into the butchery (or whatever it's called).

Last night, I was vegging and watching TV.

Sci-Fi channel first carried THE CROW with its lead character of
Eric Draven = Eric d'raven = Eric de Raven = Eric The Raven.

Then it was HIGHLANDER: THE RAVEN

Then, on the X-Files, Mulder got assigned a case because it
involved mysterious appearances of Ravens.

Perhaps this is a subtle application of vampiric hypnotism?

Janette is sending a secret message to all the "chosen" people
that she is still alive and well and awaiting the moment that her
black wings can spread across the moon and she can return once
again?

Or maybe someone at CENTRAL (the topsecret commandbunker
from which all television is controlled) is a FK fan and is telling us
to have faith. That soon, we will be rewarded by the return of our
favorite night-time friends?

Eugen Lacroix, GmbH is a German soup brand owned by Campbells. To
quote the website: the Lacroix brand as a symbol of haute cuisine
has an international reputation for culinary excellence and still
adheres to the founder's motto to be "...the first culinary
diplomat on the international parquet."

That does sound like something LaCroix might say, doesn't it?

Does anyone know who came up with the idea of the plastic cow with the blod

idea in a fanfic and would like to give proper credit if possible. Of course
it could have just sprang from the dark corners of my own mind and I'm
mistaken. If anyone has heard of this before, please respond.

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post
in replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote
the relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of
text, your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of
the six line limit. If you have one of those services that insists
on putting an advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. I
realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part of your
sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, mclisa@m....... or Don Fasig,
phase3@g....... for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff
and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in
the past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation
to Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or
how urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which
you think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other than
that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the
media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

I'll be happy to explain the reason for any of the above if asked.
