Send responses offlist to me and I will forward them to the interested party Figure someone here would know something about this. Lorna Marie piglet@c....... Not that I really truly expect any more answers than last time, but hey, I'll give it a shot. I'm looking for one very specific piece of Tracy-centric FK fanfic. The loss of it is still nagging at me, a good 18 months later, so I'm asking around again in case anyone has stumbled across it. It's very long, and when I saw it it was posted in one piece (one of those stories where the scrollbar is about 3mm high?). It's a post-LastKnight story, with Tracy engaged to some random Mary-Joe. The basic plot is that she survived LastKnight (mis-tagged), and Lacroix wiped her mind. As her memories start slowly resurfacing, she starts trying to find out what happened and digs up the whole royal mess. Nick&Nat are nowhere to be found, presumed dead. Janette is in New York, and is funneling Nick's charity money into projects housed in the old Raven building. Vachon survived thanks to a bottle of blood Tracy buried with him. I don't remember what was up with Lacroix. The major thing I remember was when Tracy was trying to get her fiancee to help with her investigation, sneaking around in the old basement of the Raven and looking for crates of blood bottles, which Tracy approximates to be "about the size of a box of printer paper." The imposition of such a mundane frame of reference onto such a bizarre situation really impressed me. Anyway, so, I'm still looking for this story. If any of you hang in circles with others who might have seen it, please feel free to forward this to them. I really want to find the story again. If you have a minute, take a look at: http://www.geocities.com/Vienna/2167/cross.htm where I've posted the pictures of some props and set dressing items I can't identify. They're from the show, but not even the prop people remember where they were from. Some could have been nothing more than background and barely seen. Lemme know if you can identify any. How are these connected to FK? Well, it seems like USA has some time on their hands and the SciFi Channel is offering up some reruns, short term ones at that. So. maybe there's an opening for FK to return to the schedule. If you haven't written them in awhile, now would be a great time! Annmarie *** USA Cable loses WWF to Viacom LOS ANGELES (Zap2It.com) - A Delaware judge slammed USA Networks chief Barry Diller when it ruled that the WWF could walk away from USA and sign a five-year deal with Viacom, despite USA's first-look agreement, according to industry sources. Chancellor William Chandler from the state Chancery Court in Wilmington, Delaware dismissed the lawsuit late Tuesday that USA has brought against Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation. USA had argued that the network should have been given first consideration for renewal - even though they couldn't match Viacom's bigger and broader offer for the rights. "This is a fantastic victory," Viacom's chairman Sumner Redstone told Variety. "TNN will now become of the most important networks in all of cable." The decision is a huge gain for Viacom-owned TNN, which later this year will pick up the cable rights to the wrestling series "Raw Is War," which is consistently ranked as USA's top-rated show. Under the five-year deal, TNN will be getting the series "Raw Is War," "Livewire" and "Superstars," while MTV will get "Sunday Night Heat." UPN will be gaining an extension for "WWF Smackdown," the show that turned the network around last season, and will be gaining the Sunday games of the XFL, the extreme football game slated for February by WWF Entertainment and NBC. Among other highlights of the deal with Viacom are options for books, big-screen development, pay-per-view events in Canada, primetime TV specials, radio shows and theme-park attractions. SciFi Channel: Sci Fi Channel is bringing back three quickly-cancelled shows this summer: Fantasy Island (the Malcolm McDowell 1998-99 version) with 13 episodes; The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (first run syndication) for 22 episodes; and Highlander: The Raven (first run syndication) with 22 episodes. Fantasy Island begins 7/11, and Crow and Highlander will air back to back beginning 7/23. News on Rod Perth Rod Perth has resigned from Jim Henson Television, just 14 months after he started, and four months after the company was purchased by German based EM TV. Perth says all was left amicably and he is looking forward to pursuing other interests in the industry. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 30 Jun 2000 11:09:03 -0700 From: "Tiffiney A. Don't know how many of you own DVD players or make your own CDs, but http://www.imix.com offered to make cds for you in the order you want...etc. I even think they have the stuff from FK there (just Fred Molin's stuff though). Anyway, they are having this survey where you can tell them what you want to see on DVD and although FK isn't an option on there, I imagine if we innundate them with mail saying we'd be willing to purchase episodes (perhaps 2 or 3 a DVD) in a minute, they will be more inclined to talk to TPTB for us, and they would have more weight than we do. Their standard "Talk back to us" survey is here https://forms.flashbase.com/forms/talktous And the standard survey (that doesn't have fk) is here https://forms.flashbase.com/forms/imixTV imix.com, Inc.
