Carla sent this addy for an E-books article, but the article has a side
article on Star Wars and DVD! Seems the that internet petition the fans
circulated (yes, I signed it) caught Lucasfilm's attention and they will be
making DVDs of the Star Wars movies. (though not this year.)
This reminded me...how did the FK video/petition turn out? How many
signatures did we get for the Knight?

Aaagh! Sorry, sorry, sorry.
And does anyone know where I can get a braincell jump start?
I went to work yesterday and discovered that for two weekss *two!* I had
left up an Easter egg decoration in the main store entrance. Right there
with the Mother's Day stuff. I told management that...well, mom's a good
egg. Unfortunately, I think my own egg has cracked. Must have something to
do with getting close to age 40. They say the mind is the first to go. I
think mine got a head start.

I am trying to locate two fanfic authors: Bobbie Williams and Cat McLean -- the
e-mail addresses I have for them (UserKnight@a....... and hawksrdg@p.......,
respectively) have both bounced recently.
Any chance anyone can some way help me locate them, let them know I'm looking
for them?
Thanks bunches!

Aron;
Well, besides being a great person, Lisa played Det. Tracy Vetter on FK's
third season, but I figured that you knew that already...

I suspect that what you were watching was Total Recall 2070. The paranoid
old man was David Hume's somewhat senile dad.
And here are a few more FK connections: Nigel Bennett was on the series for
a few episodes (corrupt lawyer for Rekall, I think), and David's wife,
Olivia, was played by Cynthia/Cindy Preston, who played the sociopath lawyer
/ stripper / murderer-by-proxy on the FK episode Dance by the Light of the
Moon.
More trivia - the strip club where Cindy's character performed is indeed a
real place, Jilly's. If you're ever in Toronto and would care for an FK
filming site tour, I'd be glad to take you there (and anyone else who sees
this, of course). No, we probably will not go INTO Jilly's, of course :-),
but then again, nobody has ever asked to go in. I suppose that it would be
funny if a tourist ever actually asked to do so. If this happened, I'd be
an obliging tour guide and say, "Okay, let's take a look" (at THE ROOMS,
that is! :-) ).
Cheers,
"Perky Cousin" Will, obliging tour guide, tongue placed firmly in cheek and
with foot in mouth. :-)

can I put a mailto: addy in a graphic so I don't have to have a coloured

I use FP98 btw.<g> Anyone game?
Thanks muchly!
Would you think vampires change with the times as quickly as they perhaps
should? I mean, ten years is nothing to them but in that time computers are
now in every home etc. Or do you think they may take on the air of, why
bother, it will pass.
We saw LC with his laptop, but we never saw Nick with a PC... Theories?

Select the graphic and make it a hotspot. Instead of directing the hotspot
to a webpage, make it to a mailto: addy.

I can help answer that. It was Total Recall.

Heard from Berkley that IoM isn't going to be remaindered. Instead,
they're simply going to sell down the stock.
This is a Good Thing. Remaindered usually means that there were so many
unsold copies the publisher dumps them at a bargain price at chain stores
(like Borders and Barnes and Nobles). Sell down means that Bookstores and
people are still ordering the book - so they'll just sell all of the copies
they have until they're gone.
Thanks to everyone!

Posted with McLisa's permission.
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new web page up for a
new GWDFC T-shirt. It's not quite what you would expect except for
those at the last Gerthering who have already gotten a look at it. What
is it you may ask? Well, it's the Forever Ferret T-shirt. Now, stop
laughing. I'm serious. And believe it or not, it was not my idea. In
fact, if you want to know how it came to be, go to
http//www.ssferret.com/ff.html. All I'll say is that it's Susan
Garrett's fault.
The T-shirt is $20 (American) and everything goes to Children's Hospital
Foundation. This includes postage. Just check it out.
Thanks!
Ellen Byrne
PS There should be a link soon off Susan's page.

Guys, when the rules ask us to stay on topic, that means substantially on
topic. One FK reference in a post, with all the rest of it being nothing to
do with FK, isn't on topic. The rule exists because many people have limited
