It's can take music directly from my CD-ROM's cd (Forever Knight) and convert it to mp3 in the player. It also is supposed to be able to change that mp3 into a .wav format (which I have seen on websites--thus my interest!). Unfortunately, the instructions they give are Greek to me. Anyone else out there in FK Land got this puppy and can translate for me? Offlist. Kyer, the Severely Hopeless (and not very cute, but fortunately this is e-mail) Squirette. :) kyer@p....... ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 May 2000 14:09:34 +1200 From: Knightraven <knightraven@c.......> Subject: Fw: RavenAwards UPDATE 06/5/00!! Subject: FK: On Holy Ground Posted with listowner's kind permission: With thanks to all of you who have pre-ordered and waited so patiently, ON HOLY GROUND is due in from the printer today and should be going out in the mail next week. There will be copies available for at least the next 6 months, so anyone still interested in purchasing the novel may do so. (See http://members.aol.com/JeanB7 for link to previews and ordering info.) I had planned to have the book out a bit earlier than this, but the usual printer's delays aside, I definitely *hadn't* counted on the sudden and completely unexpected death (at 36) of my husband's younger brother (apparent cardiac arrest: cause still undetermined -- where's Nat with those one-day autopsys results when you need her???), nor on my 76-year-old father losing a battle with an overloaded recycling bin, falling and cracking a pelvic bone. Never rains but what it pours... Ah well. We're still meeting the promised May delivery date. Thanks, everyone, for your patience, and we hope you'll enjoy the book! --Jean Graham (JeanB7@a......., JeanG477@a.......) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 May 2000 01:14:02 EDT From: KnghtWtch@a....... I had them for $14.00 plus $3.20 priority mail or $1.75 first class mail. If I sell them in lots of ten, my sign maker does them for $14.00 each. If less than ten ordered, $20.00 each. So I have a few left from the lastest batch made. Did I make that clear? I do tend to ramble a bid. I stupidly lost the addy for a website that was doing roundrobin FK stories. One of last things they had posted was a story called Deceptions in which Reese starts to quietly investigate Nick. They also had a fic xover with Anne Rice's vampire meeting Nick and LaCroix. Anybody out there recognize this? Kyer kyer@p....... Gads--all I do is ask for stuff lately...what an embarrasing developement! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 May 2000 15:52:10 -0400 From: Portia 1 <portia1@m.......> Subject: Looking for TRILOGY Anyone know where I can find (or the title or author of) three stories that involved 3 people (2 guys and a woman, mortals) hanging out at the Raven and giving an outsider's perspective of the interactions between Janette, LaCroix and Nick??? Really want to read the stories again. I came across them about a year ago (maybe less). Please Help!!!!
