You can check the official web site for updates about screenings in your city:

   http://www.foodchainthemovie.com

So far the film hasn't found a U.S. distributor. Maybe some
muckety-muck will see it at the Lincoln Center this weekend and that
little problem will be taken care of. ;-) But meanwhile keep an eye
out for it at film festivals and special screenings. Watch the Food
Chain website for updates.

Hiya Gang!

Well, my codin' skills are just improving by leaps and bounds so I
decided to try them out by putting together a new FK Banner Exchange for
all our groovy FK pages.

All it takes is a bit of code (only 4 lines!) and filling out a form,
and then you too can be a part of the funkiness that is the FK Banner
Exchange! :)

Well, no self-respecting Wisconsinite can refuse *that* invitation.

Of course she's going to look different, after what happened.

Here's the play-by-play:

She's in the hospital in Toronto, when ...

  <<CERK Perk gets the Edam-scented puck >>
LaCroix brings her across, then we find ...

<< flips it aloft to the Human Factor >>
Nick actually *has* become human through Natalie, so ...

<< Night Shift comes over the boards and takes the pass >>
he in turn tries Janette's cure on Tracy, successfully, but ...

<< oof! Slashed by the Unnamed Faction & the whistle blows >>
LaCroix deceives Nick into trying the cure on *him*, only to
bring Nick back across and away from Tracy.

<< "Unreal!" TV announcers exclaim >>
Tracy calls Tawny Teller, formerly of Cop Watch, for the name of
her agent and plastic surgeon, and uses their help to become ...

<< After the face-off, the Dark Perk takes it coast to coast >>
in Seattle (where she's heard a lot of buzz about immortals at the
end of the Millennium),

  <<evading the enforcers, >>
evading the Enforcers,

<<aims her shot to deflect off the post, intelligently, >>
first a newspaper reporter, then a local TV reporter,

<<it bounces off Aristotle's pads into the net - she scores! >>
brazenly using her own name with only a minor spelling change.

Subject: Oh my gosh!! FK's #3!! (and the reason why: to the voters)

I know I normally post about this once a week, but FK had just risen to #3
on the Gloabl 100 finally, after weeks of being #4(#5).

Forever Knight is now #3 though! After I suggested a voter rise the vote
level to HIGH it raised instantly to #3! This DOES matter!! It gives FK a
higher number of points if you are a HIGH level voter! And i even asked
about this point system recently through e-mail. Being high is much better
point wise! So if you are on any thing other than high please go edit your
personal card. Here's what to do:

These will determine how much your votes are worth, so please strive for as
much as possible and be a High Level Voter.

Note: You can increase your level on your Personal Card. This is where you
can store information about yourself. Some of this data is used in the
voting process to improve the quality of the charts. When you're new you
start at the Low level. You can increase your level when your email address
has been verified. The higher your level the more weight your votes have in
the charts.

If you answer the questions about your 'gender', 'birthday', 'location' and
'public address', you will get a High level.

They also updated the items pages with a lot more info too!
Kristin

P.S. Please feel free to e-mail me offlist wiht any questions about this.

Hmm....

Leigh Keno (of Keno Galleries in NY): Nick, tell me more about this
magnificent fireplace mantle you brought in today.

Nick: Well, Leigh, I had it handcrafted for my English residence back in
1658. See the carvings? They're absolutely wonderful. The entire thing is
made out of Rosewood, which was just being imported from China at the time.

Leigh: YOU had it made in 1658? Don't you mean one of your ancestors?

Nick: No, it was me. And I only paid the woodcarver 2 gold crowns for it.
Quite a steal, heh?

Leigh: Ahem... well, no matter how you got it, I have to tell you that this
is one of the most magnificent pieces that I've ever seen. Look at this
carving over here... small bats that turn into humans! Such fancy, but not
unexpected during the reign of Elizabeth the First. Nick, do you have any
idea how much this fireplace mantle it worth?

Nick: Oh, I have an idea. A lot more than I paid for it, certainly.

Leigh: Well, Nick, on a good day, with the right people at auction, this
piece could conservatively go for between 90 and 125 thousand dollars!

Nick: <<whammy mode on>> Leigh, you will revise that estimate upwards.
It's worth at least 500,000 dollars!

Leigh: Excuse me, but I meant to say, it's worth at least $500,000! Thank
you for bringing it in to show us today.

Nick: Thank you.

Dark Knight's airdate was May 1992. There's an 18-month gap between the
airdates of the last ep of season one (March 1993) and the first of
season 2 (September 1994). So that would seem to make BMV February 1995,
unless season 2 is supposed to be one long flashback <gr>.

It seems to me that when season 2 started after the long hiatus, FK was
pretty much written to assume that a year and a half had passed and we
just missed out on it. For example, Nick and Schanke have known each
other long enough that Schanke can call him his "best friend" and come
seeking refuge for himself and his duck lamp when he leaves Myra.

And how do I know these dates, you may ask? Thanks to Dorothy Elggren's
website and the wondrous Episode Guide!:

I look forward to reading your reviews of this little movie. I've run across
6 professionally written reviews so far but can't say that I agree
unconditionally with any of them. They range from raves to majors pans.

I first taped BMV when it ran on CBS, and my record date is 5/28/1995
... I'm just not sure if that's the original airing or the first rerun. I
think I started recording the series halfway through the 2nd season, and I
know it started another run through in August 1995, because that's when I
taped the first half of the second season.

please see Don Fasig's page

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post
in replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote
the relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of
text, your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of
the six line limit. If you have one of those services that insists
on putting an advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. I
realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part of your
sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, mclisa@m....... or Don Fasig,
phase3@g....... for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff
and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in
the past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation
to Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or
how urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which
you think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other than
that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the
media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

I'll be happy to explain the reason for any of the above if asked.
