Okyday.
Kyer the 'current television program and *always* cable show' challenged
here. (haven't watched anything save Frazier and The Red/Green Show for two
years now. My new boob tube has become this computer!) Can someone tell me
*offlist* what network and when this show is playing. 'Cause now I'm
curious.

Grinned,

Oh man, nice work if you can get it. <g>

<<He looks awesome with the beard--even though he told us he would shave it
 off once this is over.>>

Yeah, he looked quite yummy with the one he wore in the movie with Lynn
Redgrave, so I can just imagine. And believe me, I *do* imagine. <weg>

<< It is clear that Nigel is in his element on the stage. He has incredible
presence, and my favorite scene is one where Claudius is examining his
guilt in the murder of his brother. He does an amazing monologue, and
then prostrates himself on the floor. VERY powerful stuff. >>

I knew he would be magnificent on the stage. Drat my wretched finances!
Thank you so much for the vivid descriptions Heather-Anne. It is, alas, as
close as I'll get to the real thing.

Subject: Major Update -- Season 1 Pictures Page

Hi all! I have done a major overhaul of my Season One picture pages. Now,
you can access each episode individually. This will not only make it more
convenient to find the pictures you're interested in, it will also speed up
loading of the pages. Visit the redesigned page at:
http://www.fortunecity.com/tattooine/tiptree/135/season1.htm

I have Season Two and Season Three up as well, however, there are only two
eps currently on the Season Two page ("Hunted" and "Be My Valentine" (over
100 pix!)). The third season page has yet to have any eps posted. Check
back, though, as I hope to get a few done each week until I have the entire
70 episodes vidcapped for y'all. :)

Thanks, Heather-Anne, for the mini-review. Have there been any reviews in
the local newspapers that can be linked to or shared in some other way?

PS - why am I not surprised at all that Nigel has a magnificent stage
presence? :-)

Hi Enid,

Thank you so much for taking the time to make that nice Valentine for
us GWD fans. It was fun to go and see it! I hope school is going well for

I don't have any comparisons with the characters, but soon after I began
watching Forever Knight, I began calling the show "a rare gem." The phrase
comes from Peanuts, from Peppermint Patty, who said her father always says,
"Peppermint Patty, you are a rare gem."

A few months back, we had a big bruhaha where someone NOT on this list (as
far as I know) had stolen and linked FK pictures to another site, claiming
they didnt know whose they were, and being a thief.

I am overwhelmed, and cant remeber details. Another list I am on is having
this problem (we just found out), and I thoguht I remembered there being
something special to keep theives from stealing you stuff. Can whoever
knows about this contact me off list please ASAP.

Subject: Looking for beta-readers

Much to my surprise, my fanfic story is now nearly complete. I'd really
appreciate feedback from some other readers before I post it to the fanfic
list. I don't think that it will need much help in the spelling & grammar
department (touch wood!); what I would really like is an honest opinion on
the readability, interest level, etc. It's short, so beta-reading it won't
take too much of your time. And, if it makes any difference, it is not a
Nick & Nat story. I'm not ready to take that on just yet! :-)
This is my first effort at writing fiction in 15 years, so I'm a bit
nervous. If there are some brave volunteers out there who could beta-read
for a newby, I'd be grateful.

Ligeia

Many of you have read Nancy Taylor's First Knight series, and a couple
weeks ago she issued a challenge.

So, I responded by starting a story, and am posting it as a roundrobin
on the FKFIC, NNPack, and NNFIC lists.

Full details are in the post.

I'd especially like to see any new members who would like to try writing
a fic piece, but have been hesitant, to give this one a go.

It's a lot of fun! Even if its just writing a couple of paragraphs and
getting your feet wet!

I just want everyone to know, I'm staying out of this one. <g> Carla asked
my permission, and I gave her my full-hearted go ahead. I do hope others
will pick up the standard and run with it. This is the perfect way for a
newbie to try their hand at writing fiction. You don't have a write a whole
story, just a few paragraphs! Have fun with it.

I'd like to thank everyone who has written to give me encouragement with
this series. More is on the way.
