Yeah, it's January 1st, 2000, and we, too, are still here (waves to Kylie in NZ) Emma: ROFL! :)) Hmmm... Tracy will be joining Vachon, I guess, if not for the whole duration of his marathon party - just to avoid having to party with her parents, of course. No other reason. Certainly not the scruffy Spaniard himself (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Natalie will celebrate when Nick does (long video night, champagne for her, and a new fizzy protein shake for him). Okay, who else? Hugs, Llarian mailto:manulanger@t....... Subject: Re: When would they celebrate? I think they'd all do it both years, but the biggest one should be in 2001, the beginning of the new millenium. I am in the 2001 camp because I am graduating that year, which TECHNICALLY is the first year of the new Millenium, despite what this years seniors say... My mother went to the Polish National Church when she was a child in Philadelphia, and she just assumed she was Catholic - she was married and had me christened as a Catholic. It wasn't until the 1960's that she found out that the "Polish National Church" was the Polish equivalent to Anglicanism (or Episcopalian). I've been in the church she went to as a child in the 1920's (where she had her first comunion at 7, etc.) - and it must be the highest protestant church in existance. So... And yes, I remember the quote where Donnie Boy says "You can't get more Catholic than that." = I just thought I'd throw in a message about assumptions. IT'S THE YEAR 2000!! And you know what that means.. I RE-VAMPED MY ENTIRE SITE! There's LOTS of new graphics and more to come. I have my own "Snappy" now, so I will be screenshoting all the episodes. So far I have done "Dark Knight Part 1", "Dark Knight Part 2", "Games Vampires Play", "Sons of Belial", "Crazy Love," and "Be My Valentine". That's several hundred pics right there. Check them out and tell me what you think. I also made a new wallpaper, with some neat effects. I updated some info under my "Save the Knight" page too. And everyone who linked to me please update to my new address. Thanks! :) Enjoy!! Here it is--- 4:55am in Phoenix--- and the world didn't end. Darn. Gotta go back to work tommorrow... <grumble> That's right... I *slept* through the Mountain Time New Year. Mostly anyway. Seems some rabble rousers came down the street *twice* a bit after the turning of the calendar to proclaim their happiness by yelling and banging on cans. How considerate. But... at least the first thing I saw during the new year was my clock flashing: 12:28 <g!> I take that as a good omen. Only Y2K glitch was caused by mineself. Do you know that if you keep your clock set back in 1999 (to evade any viruses) Outlook 5 won't acknowledge your Sent mail? So, yes, everyone... I *am* aware that my machine thinks it is now New Year's 20005. <eg> (computers are easier to trick than Nick at his most naive! Bwaaahaaha! Almost makes up for all the times this thing has frozen up on me.)
