Chiller is running a mini-marathon that ends at 5pm; I just found it
while switching channels. It's channel 193 on Verizon FIOS.

Fans are true friends. Last night, it was Steph Kellerman--e-mailing to
help me with my computer problems, even though she had to know that my
computer might be infected with something horrible. Of course, she was
mailing *to* me; but she had to know that I'd answer.
Today, it's McLisa. She just told me that, if I want to find out more about
the hacking attempt, she knows a guy in Toronto who's into computers. She's
going to call him, and ask him to help me out. **For free.** He'll come
over this evening (or else tomorrow night, I guess, if he's out and doesn't
get her call). Anyway, she says it won't be during the day.
In the meantime, while I wait to see if he phones/e-mails, I have been
soothing my excoriated nerves by posting a few revisions/addenda to my blog.
These are *not* new icons. I've simply switched out the logo on the
Scorpions' icon to make one for the Stonetree-ites; done the same with the
Ravenettes' icon to make one for the Ravens; and straightened up the crooked
letters on the UF icon.

Subject: My computer being hacked
McLisa's computer guy turns out to be her brother. He turned up well after
midnight, and then spent a lot of time going through my computer.
Fortunately, he decided that he didn't need to take it away with him.
He's copied some stuff onto a flashdrive. (Actually, he called it a USB
drive, and other people call it a thumbstick, or a data stick; so I hope you
all know what I mean.) He tried to explain what he'd found; and no doubt
there are those on list who'd make perfect sense of it. Anyway, he's taken
it away with him to analyze.
I'm heading off to bed. I stay up late, I know; but not usually this late.

personal things in our lives. But I also know it's got to be boring you,
and I'm sorry.)
