I'm sure someone got this already, but would Potter crosses be allowed?
They're movies, but they're based on books, and there's a no print crossover
rule isn't there?

One read a first chapter of a Potter. FK crossover. It was excellent.
Nick found Harry, about a year old, in the Dursley's back yard dirty hungry
in a diaper only. It was really pretty good. They knew who he was and he
and LaCroix decided to raise him. I don't know if it was every finished.
There is ton's on HP fanfic I don't see the problem with crossovers. But
I don't know the rules.

Unfortunately, the films are based on books and that means they fall under
the not-on-Fkfic-l rule. The reason is that owners of book copyrights are
more likely to sue than tv or even films owners. Sorry to have to tell you
not on Fkfic-l but there are other sites that take all types of fanfic.
BTW, yes, I know J.K. Rowling doesn't mind fanfic, but if we start making
exceptions, sooner or later we'll wind up with a problem.
