Susan has just left work and was driving home when she decided to stop at a McDonalds for some carryout. Well the police chief sent a squad car to find Susan and bring her back to fix his printer. The cops found her just after she had placed her order at the first window but before she had picked up her dinner at the second window. After she had fixed the police chief's printer she wondered what had happened to her food at the McDonalds, after all she had paid for it before she had had to leave. So she drove back there and sheepishly pulled up to the second window to explain. She had barely begun when the employee interruped her with, "Oh you're the one who was arrested. We saved your food for you." And she handed Susan the bag. Susan told this story much better than I'm doing now. :) Arletta Asbury ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Aug 2010 22:28:54 -0400 From: questinc@a....... Subject: Susan Garrett I was lucky enough to meet Susan at a Gerthering and talk to her online in chats. We lost touch after she moved to California and that makes me sad because I loved her writing (I own a copy of several of her fanzines AND= her "official" FK novel!) and she was such a wonderful person. I was very saddened by her passing - she will be sorely missed! My prayers are with her and her family! God Bless you Susan! What a nice way to spend some time today. I haven't read a FK story in a long time. I very much enjoyed this one.
