Ger fans! The "Kaydick" wallpaper is up on the Robocop:PD webpage! Go take
a look at http://www.robocop-pd.ca/images/desks/kaydick.html

I sure hope we hear some news soon on when the movies will be released,
particularly here in the States. If anyone knows anything, I'd love to
hear. :) Can't get enough of Ger!

::delurks for a little bit:: Can anyone and everyone who has FanFiction
Sites send to me? I've had a very rough time of it lately, and haven't been
able to keep up with the reading, and so would like to be able to get to the
sites to read from start to finish again.

I especially like the story that's going around now (i don't know who's
writing it) where Nat is a vampire...and she and Nick have been intimate only
once (from what I can gather), .....the last post I read had something to do
with Nat trying to find Nick in the room just by picturing him in her head.

Thanks for all your help....

P.S. I live in San Antonio. I watched FK at 9:00 a.m. on the sci-fi channel
last year when I lived in Dallas....but I don't know where it's at on my
digital cable that I have now. Can anyone help out?

thanks again

When I first saw it, I thought it was Nick ... and I still think that. It
doesn't make sense to me that the victim would be receiving so much
information and images from the vampire. Even if their attack establishes
some kind of psychic bond with their prey, I still think it's a bit above and
beyond anything established in FK.

Both exchange thoughts. So, Nat's seeing his and Nick's seeing hers. They
made it look as though she was seeing his thoughts too by her expressions.
They just didn't show what Nick was seeng through her thoughts and memories.

To the Dark Knighties among us...

I've just created a brand new page dedicated to the Dark Knightie Faction.
It's called "Embrace the Darkness" and has lots of cool stuff related to
Dark Nick. The index for it is kind of graphic intense so please be patient.
One of the best things on it are the Dark Knightie scenes. I've chosen some
of the best DK scenes and wrote a transcript of the scene and put my
screen-caps with that. There's other stuff too, so come stop by!

I hope you fellow Dark Knighties like it!!

First it didn't make much sense to me either, that suddenly the "victim"
would see the pictures, always assuming that they were in the blood.
So my brain tells me too, it's not logical, there's no way for her to see
anything.

Kristin wrote:

Thanks, exactly my take on it too :-)
If they were Nicks, wouldn't he much rather see Flashbacks of Natalie's
life in *her* blood? And would Nick have such a blissed look on his face if
he had just seen his own killer history, rather than Nat's feelings?
And another "me too", the main reason why I believe the flashes in the show
are Nat's, is the way CD plays it and the way they cut it. The very same
moment the flashing starts Natalie gets this terrified look on her face, like
staring at a ghost, then a series of quick cuts between her face and the
flashes.
I can't think of a better way to stress that it's meant to be her.

If you'd like to check it out, but can't watch your tape, let me plug my page
with the transcript and shots of every single scene and flash... <g>:
http://fknet.freehosting.net/lastknight/lastkn-big-p3.html (My apologies if
my comments there are so biased, I had not realized at the time how different
other people look at it, but the actual lines are accurate!)

So I happily decide to ignore canon (once more), who's contradicting itself
often enough anyway, and stick more to the expression of the actors. I really
love FK's tricky ambiguity, so that we can all make up our private versions of
the show, sometimes completely opposite and still everyone will be right :-)))

Subject: temp. fanfiction hosting

Amazing how things can snowball..... I created a little fanfic site of
my own, just so that I could put up my story that posted recently before
it appeared on the fkfanfic site.

Then, I asked another writer if they had their story available online,
since I'd somehow lost a piece or two.. she didn't have it, and I was
not the first to ask.

SO, I offered to put it up for her, since she was going to send it to me
anyway.

That got me thinking... and now I'm offering a temporary service for any
fkfanfic writer.

IF you've posted a story recently, and keep getting requests for it
online, and you don't have your own site to put it up on, I'll
temporarily host it for you so you don't have to keep sending it out
over and over for people like me who manage to lose a piece. :-)

Once it appears on the fkfanfic site (or other fanfic site of your
choosing), I'll remove it. Unless you request special permission,
maximum time on my list will be 30 DAYS. That should allow enough time
for it to appear on the regular or faction fanfic site(s). It's
impossible for Mel to update the regular fkfanfic site on a daily, or
even weekly basis, so maybe this well help people out in the short
term. It's easier to send a URL than a file. :-)

I will NOT collect stories from regular list postings. If you want me
to do this, you MUST email me your COMPLETE FK story as a single file,
(word, rtf, or txt). Include your own brief description of the story,
and be sure to note if it contains adult content. I'll email you back
with a link a soon as it's up, which will usually be within 24 hours.

This is available for ANY fkfanfic writer on any list, so feel free to
forward this to any faction lists you're on.

Regards,
Carla

Announcing a new FOREVER KNIGHT novel
 -- Publication date: May 2000.
FOREVER KNIGHT: ON HOLY GROUND by Jean Graham

Can a vampire atone for eight centuries of evil? As a homicide detective for
the Toronto PD, Nick Knight strives to right the wrongs of his past, and with
the help of Dr. Natalie Lambert, seeks to regain his own lost humanity. The
apparent murder of a young devotee during services implicates a revival
evangelist and his flock, and the case poses new challenges for Nick: could a
faith healer possibly hold the secret of a cure for vampirism? Or, as the
ancient master vampire LaCroix contends, is mortal faith nothing more than an
empty, hopeless sham? It's a dilemma Nick and LaCroix have faced before --
in 1453, on the battlements of the besieged city of Constantinople...

"On Holy Ground" by Jean Graham was one of the FOREVER KNIGHT novels under
consideration by Berkley-Boulevard Books -- until the friendly folks at Sony
pulled the plug on any further FK media tie-ins. It will be privately
published this May in a limited paperback edition, with proceeds benefiting
The Humane Society of the United States, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and
Help the Children.
