Ready? No, you haven't seen these before. If you have, STOP READING MY
MIND!;)

10: The Victorian greenhouse one.
9. The nylon rope one.
8. The Chocolate Raspberry Truffle ice cream one.
7. The stuck in the Raven after a total lunar eclipse one. (I like eclipses.)
6. The whips-and-stakes one.
5. The Cheese Lovers' Plus one (thick crust).
4. The levitation one.
3. The Chocolate Raspberry Truffle ice cream with extra whipped cream and
hot fudge one.
2. The Laurel and Hardy impersonation night one.

And the number one generally happy, I'm-glad-the-bf-doesn't-know-about-this,
extremely torrid scene with Uncle is...

1. THE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY TRUFFLE ICE CREAM WITH EXTRA WHIPPED CREAM AND
HOT FUDGE ONE WITH THE LEATHER STRAPS AND LAUREL AND HARDY MARATHON ONE!!!!!!!!

These are the mild ones. Be glad I didn't get into the realm of chocolate
raspberry truffle banana splits!

What about every female vamp ever on the show at the same time, while
trapped in the Raven with every male vamp ever on the show during a nice,
long summer day. I can imagine sweet little Urs foaming at the mouth and
snarling at the slightest cough. Uh-oh. Fangfic!

OK, here's my attempt to diagram the delicate vampiric balance in Nick,
which looks rather like a teeter-totter. :^) Imagine this thing tipping
one way or the other -- both within an episode, and between seasons.

        Angst__________________________Bloodlust
                         /^\
                        /___\

And the members of Nick's faction can probably be diagramed in a similar
manner:

   Angsting Knighties_________________________Dark Knighties
                                /^\
                               /___\

Subject: Old episode help and a comment on viruses (long)

Hi all!

I had a sudden flashback (ohhh - dangerous sign...) from a past
FK episode and I was hoping someone could help me remember the
details. I believe it was a second year episode. I vaguely
remember part of it involving a large monetary investment Nick
had made that suddenly disappeared or was stolen. The details
I remember are very sketchy ... a banker dies and Nick realizes
it's an old friend with whom he entrusted a fortune.

I don't remember much else. Hopefully, this will "click" with
somebody. Even if I can get the episode title, I may be able
look up the details in one of the on-line archives. I am
primarily interested in who the invested money belong to.
Was it all Nick's?

Anyway, any help will be appreciated!

News of this virus has been around for some time. As far
as I know it is a valid notice. I believe the last authorized
version of PKWARE was PKZIP204g. There is also a valid pkware
version for Windows.

But remember, even if this is a real virus, it's only one
of literally thousands and thousands of viruses out there.
*Don't Panic!* Learn to deal intelligently with the problem.
I realize most of you folks have been doing this long enough not
to want to read all this. But, for those who are new to
this, you just need to learn enough to do these two things:
  1) Get a good virus checker! (There are plenty of shareware
                and freeware ones available)
  2) Make backups!
Although this isn't absolutely foolproof, it goes a long way
to avoiding problems.

Ooops. I didn't mean to get so off-topic...what can I say
-- I'm a computer teacher. :-) If anyone wants to know more
about computer viruses and prevention, feel free to email
me privately. Now, before Jamie gets mad at me for posting
too much non-FK stuff, I'll shut up.

That's assuming consistency, though. This is Forever Knight you're talking
about, remember!

Forever Knight is nothing if not ambiguous. (And I love it!)
Maybe they only did it so we could have this debate <bg>.
Or maybe he dreamed it out of guilt. For what, you ask. Oh, who knows.
After all, he felt irrationally guilty as if he had caused the plane crash,
so why not feel irrationally guilty about Claire's death? Besides, if he
didn't bring her across, but he took the Buddha anyway, then he'd really
have been stealing the Buddha, so maybe he felt guilty about that.

She doesn't seem to have thought this out very clearly. It doesn't seem to
have occurred to her that becoming a vampire would make her a killer too. Or
at the very least, make her want to kill. And Nick doesn't tell her.
Hmm, maybe that's what he feels guilty about. He was so desperate to be mortal,
he was willing to condemn somebody else. That fits with the whole Buddha
thing later. He's so desperate to become mortal that he took the Buddha
in spite of the curse it was supposed to have, thereby condemning people to
death, or so he believed.

Oh, dear, and I thought this was going to be a light-hearted post when I
started.

I d like to compile a list of all the best Immortal Beloved moments, inspired
by Friday Valentine s <valentif@t.......> note which mentions the
following great IB scene:

>>From "Dead Issue" about 1/2 hour in:
J: What would you do without me?
N: Oh, I don't ever want to have to face that. <sexy kiss>
J: *That* was the correct answer.<<

I m hoping someday to craft a tape of all these scenes. Don t look for it
soon - this list will also be an invaluable aid for this Immortal Beloved fan
fic writer!

Here s some of my favorite IB scenes. Please help me out where I m not sure
of the episodes!!

Early 1st season episode - Nick pretend-biting on Janette s hand - what a
tease!

The flashbacks to Janette seducing Nick in "Dance by the Light of the Moon"

Tag in Cherry Blossom

Nick and Janette s vampire sex/kissing scenes in Crazy Love

Nick nursing his broken heart, LC trying to comfort him in the flashback in
Partners of the Month

Tag of Partners of the Month - "Maybe more"

Nick and Janette s chat in the Raven with all the delicious body language and
kiss - If Looks Could Kill

Now, I KNOW there s more out there. Don t bother mentioning anything from
Human Factor, please. I m talking 1st, 2nd season here. I can think of
snippets, but not enough to describe them much less pick out the episode.

I also haven t seen the Canadian versions of about 7 of the 1st season eps,
so I m expecting to miss some there, too.

Fellow IB s (y all are MUCH too quiet!) help me out, please!

I updated the FK site list as my contribution to the Shrewtherer's, but
I thought you people might also like to see a copy.

The new, extra large size FK Site List!

But first, credit where credit is due. About half of the first season
sites were taken from Steve Fellows FORKNI FAQ. The rest of the list is
the result of much sleuthing by Lynne Ackerman, Will Steeves and
myself.

A word of warning: I haven't personally visited all the sites, so some
may have changed or even disappeared. For instance, Nick's place was
in 'real life' the home of Gateway Auto Collision. Hence the address
"101 Gateway". It's now the Continental Auto Collision. There are also
a few sites that we're not sure about, but those are noted on the list.

Hello gorgeous! Just a quick request of anyone who will be in SF this
weekend. My darling baby sister has been going through a rough time
lately. Therefore, I have decided to give her my ticket to SF and my
room at the hotel. If you happen to see a blue-eyed, slender woman,
mid-twenties, with short dark curls a la Shalom, who answers to
Christian, please say hello and introduce yourself.

She is utterly FK unaware, poor darling, but lovely and warm
nevertheless. If you are interested in the SF Museum of Modern Art, the
Warf, Chinatown, powershopping, swimming, working out, or just a clever
lunch companion, definately seek her out. She may even be seduced into
going to some of the convention, but I have not been able to convince
her to watch the show, as of yet.

In any case, she's a dear, so please seek her out if you have the time.

Oh, and don't tell her I told you to, just say that you are an
aquaintance of her sister, JC. She'd be mortified, and I'd be dead.

Many thanks, and please forgive me for interrupting your read,
Jewels

Subject: Deborah Duchene Fan Club

Hi all,

First I want to ask those of you who attended Deborah's play to help me out,
if you can.
I need photos and play reports for the July newsletter. The April newsletter
will be out shortly and, fortunately, I was able to get enough of my own
photos for it. However, I've already seen all of my photos and I'd like to
see what the rest of you got (and share them with Deb's club members). If
you send group photos, please identify anyone in the photo that you know so
that I can acknowlegde them--I'm good with faces, but terrible with names. I
would be more than happy to reimburse you for the cost of reprints and
postage! I would also love to get reports from any of you. They needn't be
long; just your impressions of the play and of the pre-play dinner would be
wonderful. You can send them to my e-mail address (jreliga@a.......) if this
is more convenient. You may send anything else you wish to share to the fan
club address below. Thank you in advance to any of you who help me out in
this way.

An acquaintance of mine (someone I met through the club), has written a
lovely song for Deborah called "Rise Up, Love". She sent a tape to Deborah
and allowed me to listen to it before I sent it on to her. It is, of course,
about Janette's love for Nick and I was very impressed by it. She is
currently working on a 3-song vampire project, which includes the above song.
She plans to have them available on cassette by late summer/early fall for
$6.25 (this includes S&H). I assure you that the quality of her work is very
professional and the song I sampled was exceptional. Anyone interested in
further information on this cassette should send an SASE to :
                                                  Kari Tieger
                                          00 Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx
                                   Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxxx 00000

Believe me, I am no way monetarily benefitting from this. I just liked the
song so much that I thought you Ravenettes might like it too!

For those of you who are new to the list or have not yet joined Deborah's
club, I'd like to give some information on how to join:

For those of you who don't know (and those that do), Deborah's birthday is
July 3. I know it's a bit early to start thinking about it, but time has a
way of getting away from me, so I'm sure it is the same for some of you.
Anyway, those of you who wish to send cards may send them to me any time
between now and June 19th. I have an envelope all prepared to receive them
and will hold them until the 19th before sending the envelope to Deborah (the
postage to Canada will be at my expense).

If you wish to send a gift, it will need to be handled a bit differently.
You will need to wrap the gift for mailing and have the appropriate postage
to Canada applied to it. Then, you will need to wrap it again and mail it to
me. I will remove the outer wrapping, add Deborah's address and send it on
to her. You may send these to me at any time before the 19th of June and I
will hold them 'til then before sending them on. I will remind you all again
at the end of May so that you don't miss out if you want to send her
greetings.

Bye for now---Carpe Noctem!

Oh, man!! Right before my alarm went off at the ungodly hour of 5:30 a.m., I
was dreaming of being onstage doing Shakespeare (don't laugh, I have done a
couple-but I'm sure something else was on my mind). I believe it was a
rehearsal as there really was no audience, just a few people milling around
and we were not in costume. We took a break at one point when lines started
to falter, and I remember sitting on the stage, script in hand, bitching why
I couldn't remember a particular line when someone stopped in front of me,
hands in pockets of jeans, white turtleneck, and ping--it was him! He smiled
and asked me if I could use a little "Knightly" help. Suddenly there was
this jarring ringing noise and as we both looked around to see what it was,
I woke up.

DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!

Ah well, at least I can try to work on it tonight!!

The episode was Blood Money. The fortune was originaly aquired by Nick
when he and a mortal collect a king's ransom for "kidnapping" the
Dauphine. The Dauphine was trying to use them to get the money from his
dear old dad. Nick and friend kill the Dauphine and take the money. Nick
ends up killing the mortal that had been in league with him(nifty sword
fight). LaCroix gets to give his boy a stern lecture on the evils of his
ill gotten goods and his propensity for hanging on to mortal values :>

What ever happened with that "people poll" that everyone was talking about
a little while ago? Is it over or is voting still going on? When will the
results be published? and if it's not over how do you vote? (my mail has
been down, still trying to catch up) thanks Karen

Ouch!! My head hurts. I'd just like to think that a vampires metabolism is
very 'efficient' and that all ingested blood is used for the enrgy
requirements of that particular vampire.

After achieving mortality again, all normal functions would be restored.
Simple, no?

Thanks for all the responses giving the time for FK in St. Louis. I
have had a hellish week, so I have not been able to thank you all
individually, but please accept my apologies and allow this thank you to
stand in for a more appropriate thanks delivered personally to your

Oops -sorry, five lines. Anyway, thank goodness - I agree. Too much
