Happy Conversion Day to Vachon and The Inca! I know we usually reserve Conversion Day greetings for LaCroix, because the Pompeiian lava hoedown an obvious jump off point. Of course we know when LC became a vampire! But why should LaCroix have all the C-Day parties?!?! Absolutely no reason!! So. While Pizarro's trips to the New World make for a wider time window than a volcano exploding, Bonnie Pardoe and I got our Agatha Christie on to try and solve this history mystery. And there was a lot to consider: who said what to whom in the show, the production memo about the third season characters, chile peppers, Lake Titicaca, and, you know, actual documented Incan and Pizarro stuff. We decided on a Conversion Day of November 15th, 1532, the eve of the skirmish at Cajamarca when Pizarro and his men took Emperor Atahualpa captive and started holding him for ransom. Eventually there will be a posting of fanfic to commemorate and explain this awesomesauce. But for now, I am going to celebrate this special day by being a slacker, eating some Inka chips (thoughtfully provided by The Pardoe) and going to see 'The Martian' for the 4th time. Happy Conversion Day! <waves> Bonnie Rutledge, Former Llama Regards, Bonnie Rutledge brutledge@c....... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Nov 2015 17:30:48 +0000 From: Allison <smilewithviolets@y.......> Subject: Re: Happy Conversion Day!
