Most of the scenes were from Ian McKellan's Lear, and a few more from
a recent Globe production of Tate's version of Lear (with a happy
ending). No glimpses of Edmund -- or GWD -- that I could tell.

A flash mob? That actually sounds like a cool idea! (I might have said
'skirmish,' but 'flash mob' sound much ... flashier!)

It really would get us back to the roots when attacks were mostly pranks
played on friends, rather than mostly all-out blitzkriegs by factions on
other factions.

And it might give people who can't commit to a full two-weeks a chance to
play. And, if we did one every few seasons it might allow people who can't
make one to make the other.

Plus, a weekend would most certainly be less work for Lisa and Don! Which
has to be a consideration (because they said so, and also because they're
the reason we're still allowed to play here).

I can think of a few loose threads still hanging out there that folks
could pick up, and at least one thing I'd like to get around to at some
point. Plus, I don't doubt the creativity of the folks here to come up
with some screaming fine new ideas for a little weekend flash mob!

But there will be - well not exactly King Lear, but there will be a public
release in theaters of 3 tapings of Shakespeare performed last summer at the
Stratford Festival. First Colm Feore(Blood Money) in King Lear, then King John,
and last but not least Anthony and Cleopatra starring Ger as Anthony. Look for
it in local cinemas in April.
