As to how many scripts there are for Last Knigh, there's only one
actual script. The "Damn you, Nicholas" part is in there. Filming
either stopped as LC raised the stake, or the film was cut at that
point. I think the first is what happened.

The Kangaroo is only comic "change pages" of the type that happen in
normal shooting for any show. Normally, they are identified by the
color of the pages. The colors can get pretty wild, depending on how
man revisions there are. These, supposedly, were on "goldenplaid."
They contain fake changes written as comic relief for the cast. My
favorite of the ones I remember goes like this (from memory),

Nick: (to the Captain) I can talk to the Kangaroo. I know his case.
I've arrested him. Drunk and disorderly.

Captain: You or the Kangaroo?

Nick: Both.

Ah, maybe I misread. I thought you mentioned having the original script. I
actually have the script and the joke pages. Maybe I was just being hopeful
there was another version to get my hands on. :D
