Whoa! I have to delurk if I may to say thank you, Lisa, so much for
sharing this with us; it is truly invaluable info to a fan like me
who, like many others here, wasn't part of things back when. Ger's
dedication is admirable, particularly when so many of my favorite
shows as a kid had some sort of dark cloud hanging over them when the
star would invariably make it a point to tell the press how much they
hated their role and how much they wish to distance themselves from
it. (Two in particular come to mind but it might not be polite, nor
the place, to bring their names here; it's a huge let down to a kid to
hear the character you loved so much was one in the end the star
loathed playing). So yes, this is very refreshing to me! Thank you
most infinitely to you & Alison for sharing this.

I'm always speechless at the resources fans the caliber of FK fandom
pull to obtain "uber-clandestine" info such as this... and, of course,
make stuff happen. Wish I had been there, if only to cheer you all on.
Lisa, would it ever be possible for you, at some point, to share that
script? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to read it. I
know it's a daunting task to scan pages having done so myself for
another unrelated fandom; perhaps the final pages you touched at would
suffice and be more manageable? I'm not sure if it's an OK request or
if you'll ever find your script copy, but if you could upload it
online at some website, please kindly provide us with the link,
please?

To Allison, whom I'd already thanked in private for sharing Nigel's
thoughts, I also would like to hear what make up ideas you had for Ms.
Duchene. Were you, at the time, a make up artist? Or how did you come
to be in touch with her? Through this list? Was she a lurker too?

Lastly, and not to make a new email, are the regular participants here
mainly fans of Season 3? I've been under that impression since I
joined, which truly surprised me as, circa 2001, which I believe was
when I first did my initial online searches on this show, all I could
find were posts from fans who were quite antagonistic to S3 and the
new characters; this is the main reason I never sought to join
anything back then. My (erroneous, in retrospect) thoughts were "the
party's over and I'm probably not welcome here with my pro-S3 stance
and absolute admiration for Tracy Vetter!"

It's been so long since I've posted on here, I've forgotten email
etiquette so I've trimmed your entire message out just in case. I
hope you don't receive any weird characters, my apologies beforehand,
if they somehow come thru...and for any typos.
Otto.

While I prefer Y1-2, I have no animus towards Y3.

My impression is that the participants are fans of Forever Knight.
Degrees of liking of various episodes, characters, seasons are as unique as
the people involved.

I personally dislike the network gyrations that lost us Schanke and Janette in
season 3...but thoroughly enjoy the additions of Tracy, Vachon, Screen and Urs.
There are FK episodes I find less interesting....and others I thoroughly enjoy.

Tim
