I'm getting private emails offering your sympathies at Greg Kramer's death.
No, I hadn't found out until I read it here. Yes, we really did know each
other. Yes, I'm taking it hard. I was with friends when I found out, and
another local theater friend is meeting me at a comedy/theater troop's
performance tonight. I have rehearsal tomorrow... that will be hard.
Anyway, I'm not up to responding to everyone right now, but I am touched you
are thinking of me and the emails are giving me great comfort.
Greg and I hadn't seen each other in years, yet kept in touch via emails and,
more recently, Facebook. There's a lot of stories I won't share (sorry), but
I hope to be up to sharing many in the coming weeks.
He encouraged me to act, to write, to explore. And, the funny thing is, I
think he was as big a fan of me as I was of him. It always impressed him that
I'd written comic books .. and Screed slash (imagine my horror followed by
laughter when I realized he'd found certain stories on-line).<g>
