There have been various comments about materials missing in
various incarnations of FK on DVD. It seems that in the German
version, an episode is a trifle longer and there is some nudity.
I can't say for sure since I haven't seen them.

As to the caddy crashing, it isn't shown in "Dark Knight", but
you can see it (or its immediate aftermath) in "Nick Knight",
the original pilot.

No, you remember right. When NAT was redoing the Episode Archives from the
DVDs, we also discovered that the scene wasn't there. I'd been rewatching
my tapes to point out things for her to screencap; so I saw the scene and
she didn't. (And the DVDs are supposed to be complete! Grrrrr.....)

As I recall, she had to go back to her tapes to make screencaps for the
Episode Archives, and then interpolate them. She'd already done the
numbering, which is why those particular screencaps are numbered as
1_dk111d - 1_dk_111k.

As I recall, they used the American version for the first 2 episodes,
and the Canadian episodes for everything else.

I don't think you ever saw the Caddy actually crash in Dark Knight.
I know you saw it crash in the Night Knight TV movie...but I don't think
they chose to spend the money on repeating that for Dark Knight.
Someone else's memory may be better than mine.
