Dear Greer,
While I do apologize for the confusion of the community at large, including
myself… By all that's holy and chocolate, are you looking to get me court m
artialed? Again?
Since it was you who was most directly affected, I'll make this counter-offer:
I, Mildred, will perform one job for you or your designee(s) during the next
War as compensation for this uncalled for action by Theobroma (the AI). This
would be for my services only, since it was the AI that I programed that did
the snooping.
If the job is big enough to require extra Mercs, any contracts would be
negotiated and paid by you or the desginee(s) as a normal Merc job would.
Any attempt to raffle or auction off the role of designee will give the
Mercenary Guild as a whole 50% of the proceeds, after costs. (Hey, it's the
first thing I'd do if I had an offer like that…)
