How about Nick's Motorcycle?

BTW, does he ever actually ride it in the series?

Also:
Javier Vachon's Red Triumph Motorcycle
And
Black Leather Jacket
And
Gibson Guitar *remember played a prominent role in some scenes in most
recent FK War
And that Coffin we did see at his Church at the end of Black Buddha II
And Vachon's Church
And Vachon's Choir Loft
And Vachon's Couch

<Wide-Eyed-Innocent-Vaq-Look>
...Well,if Nick's Loft is Icon-Worthy certainly Vachon's Awesomely humble
abode {where we Vaq hang out with him in FK Wartime + Out :) }

To digress slightly, did Screed's Humble Abode already get an Icon?
Also, that Clothesline upon which Screed hangs 'iz raties -t'is
genius 'n quite memorable!

*N.B. Javier's Triumph being THE reason that during FK Wars (and our private
Vaq stories) 98-100% of Vaqs ride Triumphs (Cloud & Naia are the ONLY exceptions)

**we could also include Vachon's Helmets: Motorcycle + Conquistador.
Plus his Spear
Plus his Boots
Plus his glorious long dark hair
And big brown eyes
<blink> <blink>
Well maybe it's not so appropro to do icons to aspects of characters bodies
like hair + eyes, just admire them And appreciate them and just be happy they
were there is enough ;)
... Actually any & everything pertaining to THE Glorious Spaniard is worthy
of an Icon

...Can my VaqSisters think of anything else?

It's pretty obvious that, in the race of the icons, the lamp-lovers have it
over the fireplace-fans. So far most posts have been suggestions for names
for a faction for Schanke's duck-lamp.

For the fireplace, we have the following suggestions, edited a bit:
        - Firelighters (from my first post)
        - Dragon-petters (ditto)
        - Hearth Huggers (NAT)

For the duck lamp, the suggestions break down into different types.
First, we've got the duck-type names:
        - Duckies (from my first post)
        - Duckers (Foxy11814, on LiveJournal)
        - Donald's Ducks (Walt)
        - Lame Ducks (Phylis)
        - Quackers (Walt)

Second, we've got the lamp/light-type names:
        - Lamplighters (Walt)

So far, though, none of the suggestions has been seconded--let alone
anything resembling a consensus! So, if anyone wants to put in their two
cents worth...?

Subject: What on earth are "Morgue Maniacs"?

In my quest through the archives, it's become clear that there was at one
time a bit of a vogue for comic factioneering--in other words, lists of
made-up factions whose primary function was simply to entertain.

For example, back on 14 March 2001, Molly/Stormborn presented fellow
list-members with a Top Ten "There Oughta Be a Faction" List. (Of course
"Top Ten"s are also pretty popular.) You can see that the whole thing was
very tongue-in-cheek. Here's the list:

10. Ribena Defense League - for those who willingly ingest strange British
foodstuffs
9. Toronto Knights - anything and everything Toronto!
8. The Screed Investment Club - theme song is "Viva Las Vegas," plans cons
in Las Vegas and mini-cons at Indian casinos across the country, favorite
shiny-pretty is anything that will fit into a slot machine
7. The Petite Legion - previously proposed
6. They Might be Giants - any FK fan over 5'5"
5. Knightly Order of the Sensible Shoes - those able to run away fast
during Wars
4. Swap Meet Rats - follow Screed's lead by turning junk into cash
(newletter is 'Dumpster Diving after Dark')
3. Dark Historians - research any place and time period where LaCroix
and/or Nick might have been
2. Morgue Maniacs - akin to the CaddyWhacks, but devoted to Natalie's toys
(including the caterpillar!)
1. The Purrfect Faction - proposed a while back. Those who believe LaCroix
and Sidney are soulmates, and want to see Sidney feast on the caviar and
pate that LaCroix can afford.

Well, #10 clearly hit a nerve or two, for there proceeded a spirited defence
of Ribena. (And I heartily concur!) This segued into a discussion of
oddities in British cuisine that lasted long enough for McLisa to remind
people to stay on topic.

Oddly, the follow-up on #2 didn't start until several days later. It was on
24 March that Tserisa picked up on the "Morgue Maniacs". First, she pointed
out that, the way the "faction" had been defined in the Top Ten list, it was
actually already covered by the NickKnack part of the Caddywhack faction.
However, she then asked, "On the other hand, is there a faction for Grace
and Nat? Seems like a darn good name for that. ;) I must admit I have a
fascination with forensic pathology, coroners, and so on. :> "

Three days later, Judy Freudenthal said she shared the fascination, and
added, "I think there should be a Nat and Grace faction, as long as it does
NOT become a slash one. Everyone else has a faction. Morgue Maniacs sounds
like a good title for it. As good as any other one."

Eve Dutton immediately wrote, "Count me in! I've always been interested in
forensic pathology myself [...]"

But things then got derailed when Tim Phillips said that "DeadOfTheKnight"
would be a better name, and added, "P.S. or is that a faction for all the
bit-players who are 1st/2nd scene people (scene 1 - the show opener - they
are killed. Scene 2, we find them with a toe-tag with Nat describing what
has happened to them to Nick/Schanke/Tracy) :-)"

And people then turned to a light discussion of toe-tag wearers, and whether
Schanke would qualify.

Well, I'm not so sure about a faction for dead bit-players (!), but there's
surely a crying need for a Grace & Nat faction. After all, we now have
factions for Nick & Schanke (PotM), Natalie's family (LambKins), and Tracy's
family (Vetterans). The collegial friendship between Natalie and Grace is
certainly popular: why not the Morgue Maniacs?

Icon forthcoming.

Donald's Ducks is absolutely brilliant.
Well, maybe a bit *too* brilliant, like Reese's Pieces. One has to consider
what the members will call themselves. ("I'm a Donald Duck. I mean a
Donald's Ducks. I mean a Donald's Duck. I mean--no wait! I got...that
last one? Well, *one* of them! One of those must be right. Right?)
Lamplighters is good, too. Or simply Quackers. Because devotees
of the Lamp are...obviously...quackers.

IIRC, the show's insurance wouldn't cover the show's star riding a motorcycle,
so no, we never actually see Nick riding it.
