Subject: Faction icons
Yes, I know I posted about new faction icons only yesterday. This is *not*
a repost. I've put four *more* icons up on my blog!
Included are the last of the couple factions: the Vachonettas. They are
affiliated with Janette/Vachon. I don't even know if there actually are any
stories for that particular couple; but I suppose there must be, since
there's a faction for them!
Then we've got the Third Shift and the Nitpickers. Both small, Yahoo!Group
based, and--as far as I know--inactive for a while now.
Finally, there are the Pinheads. This is a faction of fans of LaCroix's
sword pin. Not in any faction list I've seen: I came across them when I
was saving FortuneCity websites. They used to have a webpage on the old
Lisa's Lair site. (I've since seen the page in an imperfect archived form.)
Lisa has confirmed that once upon a time they were, indeed, a real little
faction. So, of course, they *must* have an icon, right?

I've asked before. (Sigh.) Now that I'm getting so near the end of this
icon project...well, I *really* need to know.
The Diviants and the Disciples of Divia are both affiliated with Divia.
However, as far as I can make out, they are separate factions with distinct
histories. I don't mean that they existed consecutively, with one replacing
the other. Rather, it looks as though, at least for a while, they operated
concurrently.
???
I made the Diviants' icon quite a while back--at a time when I figured I'd
be doing maybe a couple of dozen icons at most (i.e. for the characters, the
main couples, the Die-Hards, the Mercs). At that time, one icon for a
Divian faction seemed quite enough. Now though....
I've done icons for such factions as the Thong Throng, Pit of Condemned
Bimbos Survivalists, Nick's Harem, and Pinheads! I spent a fair amount of
time yesterday working on an icon for Tracy Sue's Whiffle-Bat-of-Doom Legion
of Heck. (Oh, yes indeed!)
So, *please* would someone tell me what's going on? Why are there *two*
Diviated affiliations? Is there a difference between them?
