Hope this is okay to post - there is no BH list or anything anymore.
Anyhoo... after cleaning up my bedroom and finding them again, I've been
rewatching the show.
And this weekend I happened to be watching the show Auction Kings... and
one of the items they were auctioning off was... a motorized barstool.
I almost laughed outloud because all I could hear in my head was Nick Haskell
saying "hockey... hockey... hockey... motorized barstool racing... hockey"
"This dark gift brings enlightened sight, as if the sun's bright rays
illuminate sweet mortal forms to take my breath away."

Subject: Faction icons
The Thong Throng icon will be up very soon. I have therefore been working
on icons for some of the remaining "new" factions. For which, the designs
are working nicely, I'm glad to say. However, I do need to fit in a logo on
each of them. And that, of course, means there could be some discussion of
*names*.
Granted, no one has suggested anything much for Qa'ra or Father Rochefort;
so, unless there are strong protests, I'm planning on going with the
Ancients and the Confessors, respectively. We do, however, have multiple
options for some of the others.
Should Larry Merlin's faction be the Hackers (suggested by Roger) or the
Sorcerers (Andrew)?
For Joan of Arc's faction, I'm inclined, myself, to go with "Les Pucelles".
You'll recall how Shakespeare's characters referred to her that way a lot.
It means "the Maid" (as in "the Maid of Orleans"). However, we have two
other names suggested as well: the Messengers (Roger), and the Arcatypes
(Andrew)?
For Chief Inspector Liam O'Neal, I suggested the Irish Charms; but people
may have other ideas.
