I knew he had a lot of regrets of his life as a vampire, but him being a fan
of this show is downright self-hatred. ;-)

ROTFL! But by now, wouldn't he be using some other alias? ;) After all,
"Nick Knight" died years ago....

It's all part of his clever reverse psychology, don't you know. Nick figures
that people will think, oh that can't be Nick, he died years ago, and
he wouldn't be stupid enough to use his (they thought) real name, so it
_really_ can't be Nick. It's less confusing in their heads. ;-)

At this point we have one vote for Bourbons (Tim), and three votes for
Musketeers (Liz, Bast, and me). But with the proviso that Liz thinks the
Musketeers could be used for Vachon's crew as a whole, while I suggest that
the crew's faction be the Lost Boys.

Any more input?

The Lost Boys makes me think of Peter Pan. Maybe that works-- they were
all trying not to be grown-up and responsible, after all. I wonder how
big a crew Vachon ran with at any given time? Couldn't have been many,
if they were able to be that mobile, but I'm sure the roster changed
frequently as vamps came and went.

Yeah, but I'd think "the Lost Boys" would be a better name for the group
faction. Of course, we only saw Vachon, Screed, and Bourbon (and
Urs!!), but there were supposed to have been others as well, at least
during the time when they actually "ran as a crew", as Vachon put it.

So far, we've had two quite different suggestions for Joan of Arc's faction.
Roger came up with "the Messengers", and Andrew offered "the Arcatypes".
Another possibility occurred to me: the Arc-en-Ciels. This is the French
word for "rainbow" (arch in the sky); but "Ciel" also means Heaven. So
Arc-en-Ciel can also be translated as Arc in Heaven.

She's often called Angel, which may be the way the "Black Buddha" script
referred to her. I don't think that's supposed to be her actual name,
though. I think it's because, as Vachon lay dying, she seemed like an angel
to him.

And is the Celtic Connection icon-worthy? <g>

Actually, now I think of it, I missed O'Neal off my list of factionless
characters, didn't I? I don't think he's particularly suited to the
Leprechauns, though he's got a touch of the Blarney Stones about him. What
about the Irish Charms for a faction name?

Here is my two cents. My vote is for the Bourbons meaning the Bourbon faction.
The name "Lost Boys" reminds too much of the teen horror film from 1987, where
the vampires were not only having fun but also a bit on the evil side.

So for my part the Vachon "crew" could be named as Musketeers, so we could
include easily Urs into it. And it would give more historical perspective for
the "crew", because we see them mostly as a flashback. Or at least I am
thinking that the "crew" is something belonging into past and in 90's it's
more or less in an inactive state.

I like the Lost Boys. Just my humble opinion.
