She's written "Seline" in the end credits, I believe. That's what I always go
by when I'm uncertain of a name's spelling.

>However, the name "Selene" is that of a moon goddess: perhaps the faction
could be the Moon Goddesses or the Lunas (Latin for "moon")?<

How about the "Lunatics"?

Petra.

Now, I'd go for the Musketeers. So that's one vote apiece. Anyone else
have other suggestions? Preferences?

What about the Indian Vampire, who brought both Vaschon and the Inca
across? Was she ever even given a name in any script treatment?

Larry Merlin - The Sorcerors.
Ellen/Monica/Jacqueline - The Unholy Trinity
Joan of Arc - The Arcatypes
Emily Weiss - yeah, "Denied" is good.

"Unholy Trinity" currently exists: IIRC it is the Nick/Nat/Lacroix
trinity relationship (slashes indicate "adult" nature). There is also
a "Dark Trinity" (Nick/Janette/Lacroix) and an "Unholy Alliance"
(Nick/Nat/Janette).

FWIW, at one point in time, the Celtic GlowWorms had a love/hate
relationship with Inspector Liam O'Neal ("Bad Blood") -- the link is
the Celtic Connection, but the faction is vamp friendly, not
vamp-hunter friendly...

I like Musketeers, although that could also be used for Vachon, Screed &
Bourbon as a trio.

I don't think I've ever seen *fans* spell it any other way than Selene; but
the script writers did anglicize spellings sometimes.

Selene, of course, is the name of the Greek goddess of the moon. That would
make sense, since Roman prostitutes typically worked under pseudonyms; and
some certainly used the names of nymphs or foreign goddesses.

Also, theophoric names were not uncommon in the ancient world. Certainly
in the Greco-Roman civilization, children were often given names honoring
various gods or goddesses. That Greek parents would name a daughter after
the goddess of the moon makes perfect sense.

I'm ok with it, but then I'm a MERC and my vote doesn't really count in
this! ;-)

Thanks, Petra! Yes, that is what's in the script. Now that I've seen your
note, I remember.

I take it the German credits have the full cast list with character and
actors' names? The English ones didn't, unfortunately.
