That's what I always go by when I'm uncertain of a name's spelling. >However, the name "Selene" is that of a moon goddess: perhaps the faction could be the Moon Goddesses or the Lunas (Latin for "moon")?< How about the "Lunatics"? There is also a "Dark Trinity" (Nick/Janette/Lacroix) and an "Unholy Alliance" (Nick/Nat/Janette). FWIW, at one point in time, the Celtic GlowWorms had a love/hate relationship with Inspector Liam O'Neal ("Bad Blood") -- the link is the Celtic Connection, but the faction is vamp friendly, not vamp-hunter friendly... Selene, of course, is the name of the Greek goddess of the moon. That would make sense, since Roman prostitutes typically worked under pseudonyms; and some certainly used the names of nymphs or foreign goddesses. Certainly in the Greco-Roman civilization, children were often given names honoring various gods or goddesses. That Greek parents would name a daughter after the goddess of the moon makes perfect sense.
