I hosted a lot of the KtK auctions and contests on my website, as well
as contact information for the TPTB for letter-writing campaigns and
issues of the Crusader, on my own website, nancykam.com. Content was
written in conjunction with Susan Ellen Fields, who was the dynamo
behind a lot of the KtK efforts. We had quite a few auctions (well,
probably up to a dozen of them) that were fairly successful in raising
money to place ads in the Hollywood Reporter or for charity.

Most if not all of those pages are gone. I'm not a web hoarder, so I
did a site cleanup a couple of years ago. Sorry.

I'll take a look on my external hard drive, where some old stuff
lingers, but I think it's all gone now.

I just remembered this dream I had last night. I was desperately trying to get
a hold of Jayne L'argent, because another fan had told me that she had found
out Nigel Bennet's bank account number, and was going to copy thesis signature
from an autograph of his she'd gotten, and empty out his bank account.

Weird dreams, I haz them. ;-)

KtK was named so because after the show was canceled, SciFi channel had on
an interview show [I can't remember the name right now] that showcased,
Ger, Nigel and Jon. During the interview Ger coined the phrase, as he
said, I wish we could Kickstart the Knight again.

I have the interview somewhere on vhs. If anyone is interested, I'll try
to find it and see if I can make some copies. BUT NO PROMISES.

Thanks to Desiree (again!!!) I now have the missing JPEGs for all the back
issues of the Crusader--or at least those that were linked to the KtK
website. She also sent me a few other things I was missing. In fact,
between what I saved, and what she saved, and the pages on the Wayback
Machine, I think I've got pretty well all of no fewer than *three* different
versions of the site. Which is ridiculous.

However, I am still missing a few things. So I'm putting out an appeal to
anyone who thinks they might have the odd KtK file lurking in a corner of an
old back-up disk--especially anyone who worked on the site or the campaign,
or ever printed out flyers to take to a con.

1. I would like to be able to include the PDF files of the flyer
(flyer1.pdf, flyer2.pdf). Mind you, if no one has them, I'll just de-link
the pictures. After all, no one is going to be printing the flyer out
nowadays!

2. There was a big picture of a KtK t-shirt. It was called "tshirt.jpg",
and had a width of 468 pixels and a height of 437 pixels.

3. There was also, on a page about campaigns to save other series, a button
about Lexx: "banner5.gif"

If anyone has any of these, would you please send them to me. Pages look so
much better when they don't have big empty rectangles on them where the
pictures ought to be!
