Hope this gives you some ideas. You've done a great job on the icons! :) Boomer >________________________________ >From: Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......> >To: FORKNI-L@l....... >Sent: Wednesday, April 4, 2012 4:09 PM >Subject: Query about "Dark" iconography > >Actually, what exactly does the "dark" mean in the names of these factions? >It might help me ifI could just get a *grip* on how "dark" the Dark is in >these affiliations. Good article. I love it when someone (outside of just us) sees the depth in Forever Knight. That sounds quite interesting. Of course, I already did an icon for the Dark Knighties. It's part of a set for the three shades of Knightie, playing off similar iconography in all three: the same helmet, for instance; and the CN Tower. (If you missed them, you can see the three icons here: http://greerwatson.livejournal.com/8059.html ) However, there's no reason why a faction can't have more than one icon. At the moment, though, there are quite a number of affiliations that don't yet have *any* icon. So my priority, I think, ought to be trying to fill in the gaps. I do want the icons I make to be acceptable to people who actually profess the affiliation. For example, I've already run icons past members of the DP, NNPack, UF, and CotK. And yes, a couple of times they wanted changes! So, if there are any *Dark* Natpackers or Dark NNPackers still out there on the list, I could really use your help to ensure that I've got the right flavour to the icons for darker shades of Natalie.
