I'm sorry I've been a little behind on getting my rally on for the Mercs (my
best friend's dad was really sick and passed away last week, so things have
been crazy). For me, a short War might be best, because the next few months
are going to be insane anyway. But I do have to have a War as the official

I have to agree with the two weeks thing as well. I work second shift so my
being online is erratic at best compared to most people in wars who have jobs
with normal time frames! LOL ~Bast

I agree. People's erratic schedules are the precise reason for a longer War.
That gives people who can participate for the whole thing a nice canvas to
plot shenanigans on, and people who can't plenty of time to drop in as they
have availability.

Hi all!
This time the Enforcer hopes to be a lot more active. Last War I was
working 50 - 60 hour weeks and was way too pooped to post with any
degree of regularity!
As far as when to start the fun I vote for any time that is good for
the group as a whole and it be after Easter.
I'll be with the Die-Hards as usual. Y'all are my BFFs in the FK
Universe and it's never a dull moment at Die-Hard HQ!
Anyone up for BBQ?

Hi,
I'll be in any war that will have me. April will be right out. I teach and
April is testing month! As a Special Ed teacher I'll be testing four grades,
so no time for wars!
I prefer June as a war time because I won't be teaching that month.
I'll be playing again as a Knightie. Promise to be goodish this time!

A few things about the war discussion.
1. It can't possibly be in April. Not only is that coming up in three days,
the month also contains Easter and Passover.
2. This is probably going to be a long time discussion on the list. Last
time I made the mistake of declaring a starting date and length before
everything was ironed out. We don't want that to happen again.
3. As for length, please remember that all players don't have to
participate in writing. Part of a war is submitting permission slips to be
written about. You can simply be in someone else's post. As to time for
reading, there are generally summaries in war time for jst that reason.
4. Please, please, let us have war premises to me and/or Don, offlist.
We'd like as much of a pool to pick from as possible.
