Putting the shades of Knightie aside for the moment, I've decided to post
the two icons I've done for the Cousins and Light Cousins.

Oh, my, they took a while! First I had to carefully recreate the original
Cousins' symbol, and then use that to make one for the Light Cousins. Their
symbols are always prominent; so I knew I had to put them in the two icons.

Then, I wanted to do something Roman. So I played around for ages with
mosaic backgrounds. Let me tell you: they just don't work well when
reduced to such a tiny size! In the end, I used just a traditional mosaic
border motif. So both icons have the same fancy border.

Then I had to pick a screencap. Actually, the Light Cousins' icon got
finished quite quickly at this point. However, I dithered and dithered over
the best picture of LaCroix to use on the Cousins' icon; and then the
positioning meant there was an empty space--and what was I to do with that?

Well, in the end I got an icon finished that I was reasonably satisfied
with. But it's No. 6, I tell you! I think maybe LaCroix rather objected to
me make him wait so long!

You can find the icons here: http://greerwatson.livejournal.com/6752.html

Pretty sure this faction already exists and it's called Blackwing. Best to
check Wiki faction list.
