I totally agree , but you beat me to it in posting. Since the Immortal's were seemingly immune to all diseases, and all forms of damage and death, with the exception of cutting off their heads (although they never, that I remember, brought up what would happen if someone ripped their heart out....would they just grow a new heart?). Anyway, back to the vampire stuff...I don't think an Immortal could be brought over. Their system would not accept the so- called vampire virus. But what better companion for a vampire than an Immortal. They would also never age, and would never die. Penny the old "dark maestro" back from a long absence. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Oct 2011 00:05:35 -0700 From: Walt Doherty <wdoherty5@c.......> Subject: Immortality -- was FORKNI-L Digest - 24 Oct 2011 to 26 Oct 2011 (#2011-148) I believe that one major difference is that one is born an immortal. You can't just become one. In vampirism, anyone can become basically immortal -- although with certain limitations and frustrations. Isn't that true? Walt Doherty wdoherty5@c....... Let's say, modern-day Nick meets up with an Immortal Schanke; they then set up a detective agency. Evelyn Duncan brandykitt@a....... Where's a Tok'ra when you need one?
