I totally agree , but you beat me to it in posting.  Since the
Immortal's were seemingly immune to all diseases, and all forms of
damage and death, with the exception of cutting off their heads
(although they never, that I remember, brought up what would happen if
someone ripped their heart out....would they just grow a new
heart?).   Anyway, back to the vampire stuff...I don't think an
Immortal could be brought over. Their system would not accept the so-
called vampire virus.


But what better companion for a vampire than an Immortal.  They would
also never age, and would never die.

I believe that one major difference is that one is born an immortal.
You can't just become one.  In vampirism, anyone can become
basically immortal -- although with certain limitations and frustrations.
Isn't that true?

OOOOH, plot bunny!

There was a story of Schanke as an Immortal.  Let's say,
modern-day Nick meets up with an Immortal Schanke;
they then set up a detective agency.
